TRADITIONAL WEDDING CEREMONIES
Partake in an age old tradition as elaborately adorned Kandyan dancers lead you in to
the beat of classical drums. As the two of you stand atop a poruwa, an artfully raised
podium with its backdrop of tropical flowers, know that the promises you make here
will last a lifetime.
A host of beautiful customs are the very essence of Sri Lankan weddings. Lighting the
oil lamp signifies a bright future together. The tying of each other’s little fingers with
gold thread symbolises unity, whilst the chanting of jayamangala gatha invoke
blessings.

is well suited for both mid-morning and evening gatherings.

This richly ornate space with pillars and arches of colonial architecture and fine antiques is a marvellous place for a signing ceremony.
If your guest list consists only of those most cherished by you, the dining room with its splendid 22 seater antique table offers a deeply
intimate experience, especially for fine dining.
THE COURTYARD
The grassy courtyard edged by elongated verandahs is picture perfect for a lavish banquet. Nil Manel flowers blossom in the water pond
whilst the leaves of the Tamarind tree rustle in the wind.
