Patricia Robalino was born on September 6, 1972 in Guayaquil, Ecuador in to a
jewelry heritage. Her maternal grandparents founded Valencia Jewelry in Ecuador in
1947. Nowadays, there are fourteen fine jewelry stores throughout Ecuador, owned
by different members of the Valencia family.
At an early age, Patricia started her own business in Ecuador distributing Italian
jewelry as well as designing her own pieces. Eventually, that let her into studying
jewelry design in Florence, Italy. She then continued her education at the
Gemology Institute of America (GIA) where she concentrated in Diamond Gradings.
Patricia’s fascination with pearls inspired the design if her latest necklaces and
bracelets and gave birth to the PR Collection. Baroque and Cultured pearls,
combined with diamonds and precious stones are used for these designs, as
well as South Sea Pearls.
In the year 2000, Patricia Robalino established her self in Miami,Florida, where she
currently sells her line to exclusive jewelry stores. She currently works out of the
Diamond District in New York city where she is constantly creating new designs and
producing new master pieces. In addition to her own designs PR also distributes
exclusive high-end jewelry made with the highest quality of diamonds and precious
stones by other selected jewelry designers. Her collection are exhibited at the most
prestigious jewelry trade shows in the USA (JIS,JCK,JA) and Europe.
