On the Indian Pacific, a Short Stop at Rawlinna on the Nullarbor Plain is scheduled for all westbound journeys. On The Ghan, Short Stops are scheduled for Marla and Manguri in the far northern reaches of South Australia (depending on direction of travel). Off Train Excursions and Short Stops Off Train Excursions offer extended stops of between two and six hours at key destinations. Choose from a selection of organised tours as part of your rail holiday.
