KW6WW Emergency Repeater Odd Offset Programming
The frequency pair is a TASMA emergency split and not the normal
600 KHz offset. If you haven’t already programmed it, the chances
are you won’t be able to do it during an emergency.
The two repeaters are not operating at all times and activated from
time to time for testing of radio programming, exercises and during
emergencies when needed.

1) Store the Rcv freq in memory as

These instructions are with the MENU 9 (voice) is set to off
1. Turn on the radio.
 If in channel mode, press [MENU], then TDR, to switch to Frequency Mode.
2. Press 6-DIGIT FREQ (your Rx Freq) (e.g., 1,4,4,9,3,0).
 If using Tx tone: [MENU] 1,6, [MENU], scroll Tone freq, [MENU]
 If using Rx tone: [MENU] 1,5, [MENU], scoll tone freq, [MENU]
3. Press [MENU], 2, 7, [MENU]. (QUICKLY THEN SELECT MEMORY NEXT STEP)
4. Type 3-DIGIT memory (e.g., 0, 9, 9), [MENU].
(Or scroll using right knob to the memory channel, [MENU])
5. Wait a second, or press cancel to exit the menu.
6. Press 6-digit Tx freq (e.g., 1,4,7,5,8,5).
7. Press [MENU], 2, 7, [MENU], Press 3-digit memory as above (0, 9, 9), [MENU].
The odd split is now programmed.
