THE WHITE LANTERN
During ‘Brightest Day’, a Green Lantern
universe event which featured all the DC
heroes, Batman received, briefly, a white ring
of power from an entity called Deadman. We
cannot deny how awesome this totally white
version of the caped crusader looks.

THE NEW 52
The artist Jim Lee redesigned the Batman
figure for a massive reboot of 52 DC Comics
titles. The Batsuit got converted into a
hi-tech light armour suit with strong details
on the boots and gloves, a stylised utility belt
and medium-sized ears on the cowl.

BATMAN IN A BRICK WORLD
The beloved toy brand creates successful
sets based on movies and comic books.
Batman made an appearance in the recent
Lego Movie with a suit — or painted lines over
the standard Lego figure — that emulated
the design from the Tim Burton movies.

BATMAN V SUPERMAN
This sculpt represents what we know so far
of Batman in the upcoming film. The overall
look hints at the Jim Lee version with a shorteared cowl and Frank Miller’s with a bulky
figure, a huge symbol on the chest and with a
strongly rumoured grey-blue colour.

2005 Batman Begins movie
The Tumbler can reach 0-60mph in six
seconds with a top speed of 110mph. It
is able to make unassisted jumps up to
30 feet. In attack mode the driver’s
seat is moved to the centre section
between the front wheels. This also
features a pair of machine guns
mounted in the nose of the car.
2008 Batman Brave & the Bold
animated series
This Batmobile evokes classic designs
such as the “double bubble” canopy
and red pin striping of the ‘66 version
as well as the fat fenders of its 1940s
counterparts. It has the ability to
morph into other vehicles like the Bat
plane and Bat sub.
2005 Batman comics
Sophisticated command
console, voice-recognition
system, visual enhancement
capabilities, signal jammer
and forward mounted

2008 Batman comics
One of three alternative
Batmobiles in the same issue.
This design is influenced by
the 1992 animated series with
sports/muscle car
proportions.
2008 The Dark Knight movie
The Bat Pod is an open motorcycle-like
vehicle with power generated from a
pair of electric motors mounted in the
wheels. It is armed with machine guns,
cannons and grappling hooks.
2011 Batman comics
Inspired by the Tumbler
design from the 2005 movie,
this Batmobile has large rear
fenders, six wheels, rear fins
and a V-8 engine.
2009 Arkham Asylum videogame
This Batmobile draws inspiration from the
1989 Batmobile, including the louvered rear
panel, cowled exhaust port, rear inlets and
side details. But unlike that movie car, this
has a shorter wheelbase, split chrome grille
and more rounded fenders and canopy.
2013 Beware the Batman
animated series
The design of an F1 Racer with a
pointed nose and single-seat cockpit.
Horizontal fins flanking a pair of jet
engines further evoke a sense of
power and speed.
