RESEARCH OF INTEREST
I am working in the area of multimedia (images, audios, and videos) security and machine learning
approaches. Digital watermarking techniques (for copyright protection, authentication, fingerprint etc)
are employed for securing the digital contents especially digital images (greyscale and color) and
medical images. I am interested in reversible watermarking as well, where we can getthe original digital
contents back. In addition, I am using genetic programming (GP) to make the watermarking algorithms
intelligent. I am also interested in data compression (Lossy and lossless). The most important feature of
my research work is the recovery of digital contents even after incidental or malicious distortions.
Furthermore, I am working in the neuro -imaging, Brain signals (EEG). Analyzing EEG signals and tracks
the activation paths by using motion estimation techniques and applying GP to optimize the paths. In
addition, I am using watermarking techniques to authenticate and secure the EEG signals.
I am using MATLAB environment for implementing my research techniques.
