Digital watermarking techniques (for copyright protection, authentication, fingerprint etc) are employed for securing the digital contents especially digital images (greyscale and color) and medical images. I am interested in reversible watermarking as well, where we can getthe original digital contents back. In addition, I am using genetic programming (GP) to make the watermarking algorithms intelligent. I am also interested in data compression (Lossy and lossless). The most important feature of my research work is the recovery of digital contents even after incidental or malicious distortions. Furthermore, I am working in the neuro -imaging, Brain signals (EEG). Analyzing EEG signals and tracks the activation paths by using motion estimation techniques and applying GP to optimize the paths. In addition, I am using watermarking techniques to authenticate and secure the EEG signals. I am using MATLAB environment for implementing my research techniques.
