Tony Kenny PRESENTS Ireland’s Premier Entertainer, Tony Kenny, takes you home for Christmas home to his beloved Emerald Isle, home to celebrate the Holy Season! Imagine Christmas in Ireland: A warm turf fire on a cold night, a rousing sing-along by the hearth, favorite Christmas songs and hymns, laughter as everyone gathers for a sampling of Irish wit and wisdom, and the joyfulness of youthful dancing in celebration of the holidays, then allow Tony Kenny, Ireland’s Premier Entertainer, and his all-star cast to take you there. Tony Kenny is an icon in the world of Irish music, receiving dozens of awards for his stage and television performances. He has entertained over two million people touring the U.S. on countless tours to packed houses. This multi-talented, award-winning performer has done it again! Introducing some of Ireland’s finest performers, Tony Kenny’s Christmastime in Ireland brings such joy you’ll be singing, clapping, and laughing from beginning to end. It is most certainly the perfect way to celebrate the Christmas season. Ireland’s King of Blarney, George Casey’s, self-deprecating humor, tempered with his Irish brogue, have won over audiences across the country. Casey’s humor is always in good fun. George relates well with people, is a good communicator and keen observer of human nature. With his disarming smile and likable personality, he reaches out and involves the entire crowd! George can charm the habit off a nun and put a smile on the face of even the most politically correct audience. Trish O’Brien, County Cork’s Queen of Song, was born with music in her blood inheriting her musical passion from her dad and uncle. She married Paul Noonan, moving to Canada to raise their family, all the while incorporating music into their lives and regularly performing in Toronto within the Irish community. Trish was the “Singing Voice” of Celine Dion in a CBC produced biopic about the Canadian super star, and also appeared in a movie with Irish actor Gabriel Byrne. Trish recently performed to an audience of 14,000 people at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, which led her to record with multi Grammy Award winning producer, Rodney Jenkins (“Darkchild”), who is known for his work with such stars as Mariah Carey, Whitney Huston and Jennifer Lopez. The Dublin Trinity Band is one of Ireland’s best folk bands. From busking on O’Connell Street to playing at the National Concert Hall, this group has wowed audiences of all sizes for years. The band features the lovely and dynamic Niamh Fahy on violin; Musical Director Paul Noonan on piano; and Ireland’s best accordion player, Peter Brown, on button accordion. Added into this stellar mix of Irish artists are the Dublin City Dancers, led by Sarah Costello. Sarah toured the world for six years as lead dancer and dance captain in world renowned Irish dance shows, performed in Walt Disney World for 16 months, and then opened Central Florida Irish Dance School in Orlando. Sarah comes to Tony Kenny’s Christmastime in Ireland to lead a troupe of precision musical athletes who will take your breath away! Joining Sarah is Maggie Darlington, fresh from touring the world with Riverdance, dancing the original female lead in Battle of the Dance in Anaheim, and as lead dancer in Celtic Fyre at Busch Gardens. Australian native Caitlin Ehrich, has performed all over the world, joining Dublin City Dancers for this tour. She was an original cast member of Michael Flatley’s Celtic Tiger and Lord of the Dance. Christmastime in Ireland is a show not to be missed this season! www.CMIENTERTAINMENT.COM 516-944-7393
