VILLA MIROGLIO GOLF HOUSE
Villa Miroglio Lodge is a two-story house whose bedrooms overlook the Golf Hole 1 Potrerillo de Larreta one of the most prestigious golf courses and

per hunter. Pigeon hunting requires precise shooting,

There are two types of shots, according to the hunter’s preferences. One, in
peanut or corn-sown fields, using decoys from a blind; the other, in natural
spots, for more demanding hunters who prefer long precise shots.
General Information and Recomendation:
Arrival:
Hunters will be received at the international airport, and then assist with the entry of weapons in a personalized,
bilingual, we will bring in comfortable minibus to the hunting zone to begin after lunch time.

Weapons Permits:
All weapons entering the country needs a temporary visa to enter and stay. Go to: RENAR Complete the form (SPC

their luggage, go to "Police Aviation" for proceed with the sealing of the forms. The cost per weapon is U$D 100.

A Typical Day of Hunting:
The hunting hours begin after 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
At noon he returns to the farm to take a break and lunch.

Electricity:

OTHER SUGGESTED GEAR LIST/ABOUT YOUR TRIP
You’re allowed two (2) shotguns on your permit – auto’s are suggested. Register your guns, cameras, etc. with US
Customs before leaving the country and keep the certificate. Bring some spare parts for your guns. You don’t want
a broken gun half way around the world.
Gun Cleaning Equipment. This is volume shooting! Shooting gloves (baseball/golf gloves work well – adhesive tape
for your fingers/thumb) Shooting Glasses, Hearing protection, Brimmed hat, Shell pouch or shooting vest Recoil Pad
or padded shirt (Past makes and excellent one) in addition to your butt pad on the gun.
Rain Gear (to make sure it doesn’t!) as well as Mosquito Repellent and Sun Screen.
CHEST WADERS are a must for waterfowl hunts – NOT HIP BOOTS – neoprene is suggested.
Camera and Film (expensive & hard to find in Argentina)

NO VACCINATIONS ARE NEEDED
You’re allowed two (2) checked bags (50# maximum each), including your lockable Gun Case. You are responsible
for airline departure taxes ($30+/-) when leaving Argentina. Flights depart Miami about 10PM and arrive back about
6AM. Plan to arrive in Miami late afternoon going down. Schedule return flights after 9AM.
The WEATHER from September through March is warm to hot in the Dove areas – 80’s & 90’s+. April starts fall and
cooler weather, expect 40-70 degrees. Late June to early August is the coldest weather. Expect some near freezing
temperatures on some waterfowl & combo’ hunts. If you think you’ll need it, bring it along.
Electricity is 220 volt or generators at the ranches. Bring a converter/transformer for your electrical appliances.
Local liquors are included with your package. If you drink a specific brand, bring it from home or pick it up at Duty
Free in the airport. There are also Duty Free sales on the airline flights to/from Argentina.
The customary tip for bird boys is $25/day. It’s also customary to tip your Guide/Host and/or driver and the house
staff (cooks, maids, etc.) The general suggested tips for The Entire Trip are: Staff - $50, Driver - $10,
Translator/Host - $30, Guides/Scouts - $30. These are guidelines for a 3 day hunt - You’re the judge.
Cash (there’s no need to change currency) gets you an immediate 10% discount when shopping. Cash is
appreciated for additional ammo due to the banking ‘situation’ in Argentina. A 1-2% surcharge may be charged for
checks. Cashmere & leather goods are the best buys. Argentina is plus 1 hour from Eastern Daylight Time.
CLEAN & PACK YOUR BOOTS ON TOP WHEN RETURNING – USDA will disinfect
them upon arrival.
