The projected annual emissions savings in 2030 are equivalent to removing 215 million passenger vehicles from the road. Many opportunities for organizations to be recognized! • CEM Award of Excellence in Energy Management • CEM Energy Management Insight Award • National Energy Management Awards (e.g. Canada, South Africa, UAE, etc) The 2016 Awards program produced 35 new ISO 50001 Case Studies from 20 countries and a variety of sectors! ISO TC 301 │ slide 8 2016 Award of Excellence Winners INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION NEEDED TO ENSURE SUCCESS OF ISO 50003! Governments need to work with each other and directly with their national accreditation and certification bodies to ensure quality conformity assessment requirements of ISO 50003 are implemented robustly and consistently. EMWG partners came together to create the Energy Professionals International (EPI) ISO 50001 Lead Auditor Certification Program. – 20 Lead Auditors Certified as of May 2016 – Looking for partners!
