Whole Picture Thinking
When you abstract a case are you only concerned about what your facility wants or the
physicians that will use the data? Maybe you are only concerned with meeting your quota.
During this presentation you will see the real worth of your data and why your job is vital.
You will understand the flow of information from your facility to the world cancer statistics.
Case Abstracting – Breast
In a Tumor Board style presentation we will walk through abstracting a breast case from
beginning to end. Our main focus will be on staging, TNM 7 and SEER Summary, along
with treatments and overall cancer information. The case used will be similar to actual
cases seen in your facilities.
Are You Coding That Right?!
With all the changes today it can cause many of us to question ourselves on whether we
are coding correctly. In this presentation we will review many areas where common
mistakes are made. This will be a presentation that will leave you with many A-HA
moments!

Cancer Treatment, Coding Disasters!
With the advancement of cancer treatments registrars find themselves questioning how or
where to code certain treatments. This presentation will clarify some the new treatments
being performed along with explaining how to correctly code cancer treatment that uses
some of the more familiar techniques. If you struggle with cancer treatment then attend
this session.

ACCR will be paying for two nights (May 4-5, 2016) for up to 50 people.
Preference will be given to those traveling 50 or more miles to North Little Rock
and attending the workshop all 3 days.
