What an exciting night at the December general meeting! Lots of
members and lots of noise from conversations. Was it the excitement of
the possibility of winning
a sled, a fabulous door
prize, some extra cash
for Christmas presents
from the split the pot, or
lots of snow out there
that we’ve been deprived
of for so long? We are
gonna ride this season in
some fabulous snow that
is already out there. We
may have to drive a little
bit to get to the best, but
once you are there, AweMike Leigh (right) at AMDS with his Grand Prize winning raffle ticket.
some.
It was definitely an exciting and generous night.
The club sold 594 raffle tickets, so as of this date we don’t know if enough
were sold to provide scholarship money for 2016 safety and education
courses. The Safety committee still needs to determine how much that the
club can designate next year. Thank you to all who sold tickets, and purchased tickets. You may not have won but your purchase went to a good
cause that could save the life of someone.
Our generous supporters for Red Cup door prizes: from the Susitna River
Lodge, a gift certificate for a one night say in one of their beautiful suites;
Team CC of Eagle River donated a jacket, sweatshirt. t-shirt, and goggles;
and, Mad Hatter donated a great pair of gloves. $185 was generated and
those proceeds will go towards trail grooming. When you visit theSusitna
River Lodge, Team CC and the Mad Hatter, please thank them for their
generous support.
On behalf of the members of ASC, we would like to thank, Marita Sea &
Ski/Alaska Power Sports,
for their continued support and generous donation of items of gift cards
and hats for our December General Membership
meeting. And for selling
more raffle tickets than
any other dealer. Thank
you so much.
May you have an awesome riding season and

Happy New Year.
the winner of the 2nd Place Prize.

ASC Business members are very important to the club. They provide financial support, demonstrate their support of
snow machining by the business community, and many of them provide snow-machiners with goods and services so
that we can enjoy our sport. When the opportunity arises, take YOUR business to one of OUR business members
listed on this page, and please let them know that you appreciate their support of our club.
