OFFICE OF CATHOLIC EDUCATION RESTRUCTURED
For many years, the Office of Catholic Education (OCE) included Catholic Schools, Catechesis,
Youth Ministry, and Young Adult/College Campus Ministries. This past year, the OCE went through a
comprehensive internal review that led to a reorganization resulting in three separate but collaborative
secretariats. Annette “Mickey” Lentz noted in her summary following the decision, “By reorganizing into
three secretariats we will be able to give each of these important areas the time and resources they need to
|effectively educate and evangelize. These changes will allow us to serve parishes and the people of
the Archdiocese better as we carry out the mission of the Church in central and southern Indiana.”
Learn more about the restructuring by following the link located in the left hand column. Following are
the three directors and a brief description of the services provided within each secretariat they serve.
