Elementary Kids
1st-5th Grades
WELCOME!
Elementary
Sunday Celebrations!
Every Sunday morning during our
worship services, 1st-5th graders check
into their classrooms, get a name
tag and meet the teachers and other
kids their age. During their time with
us they will enjoy a lively worship
celebration time designed just for them
in the Elementary Chapel !
For the other half of their time with us,
they will move to their classrooms and
participate in hands-on Bible learning
with age-appropriate lessons and
activities.
At the end of the Adult Worship
Service, parents can pick up their
children in the same classroom they
checked them into.

Making More and Better
Disciples of Jesus Christ
SONLIFE
Challenge:
SonLife is a
ministry developed
specifically for
4th–5th graders!
The four levels of
this ministry are
designed to help
pre-teen kids build
relationships with
one another and grow in their relationship to Christ.
4th–5th graders will be challenged to
‘go’ as they participate in
programs centering on Evangelism,
Service and Missions! Everything
from learning to share their faith,
serving in the community and
church, to learning first hand
about missions in our Summer
Wenatchee Trip and a Kids’
Missions Trip to Chile!
Connect:
KIDS IN MISSIONS
Monthly events designed to encourage students to bring their
friends and help them connect with other students and leaders
in our ministry. The events include fun activities like skating,
bowling, broom-ball and holiday events. (Ask us about the next
exciting event on the calendar!)
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations...” Matthew
28:19-20. The Great Commission applies to all and is not
hindered by size and age.
Celebrate:
Every two months the Children’s Ministry dedicates our
kids offering to a Mission Project that helps fulfill the Great
Commission around the world. Not only is this a great
opportunity to teach our children about what God is doing in
other parts of the word but it also allows our children to see
how they can make an impact internationally through their
generous giving.
Our Celebration Service begins
in graded classrooms for both the
9:00 and 11:00 a.m. services and
includes an exciting Worship time
in the Elementary Chapel.
Core:
Wednesday nights are designed
to begin a more in depth
discipleship for 4th–5th grade
students that strengthens their relationship
with God and builds strong relationships with one another.
Within this community of relationships with other students and
godly leaders, kids are encouraged to get involved with lots of
hands-on ministry opportunities. We meet every Wednesday at
7 p.m. in the Elementary Chapel. Kids’ Offering Projects:
Kids’ Missions
Experiences:
Each Spring 4th and 5th
graders are invited to attend
a six-session class on world
missions. After completing
the classes, they can go on a
four-day missions experience to
Wenatchee, Washington, where
they serve local ministries,
work in the community, lead
an outreach in a local park
and worship in a Hispanic
church. Some of these
kids will be invited to join
the Kids Chile Team and
spend 11 days in serving in
missions in Santiago, Chile.
For more information, contact the Children’s Ministry Offices.
KIDS’ SUMMER CAMP
Every summer we offer a great summer camp experience for
students who have completed 3rd–5th grade. This is a fantastic
time of fun and spiritual growth. Camp Berachah is located
in the Auburn area and has canoes, go-carts, a climbing wall, a
large heated swimming pool, miniature golf, mountain bikes,
a huge play field, a gym with basketball, volleyball and so
much more. Children will also enjoy great times of worship
and teaching and even time around
the campfire. Don’t miss this
memory-making and life-changing
opportunity!
