Get Supplies Ready:
•Wet washcloths, wring out and put in large Zip-Lock bag. Microwave 3 minutes and place in
lunch cooler to keep hot.
• Filll 1 spray bottle with water and 1 with water and face wash and mark them as such. Put a
teaspoon of facial cleanser in the one you mark as “face wash” and fill half way with warm
water (you can re-use these for several spas)
• Warm Neck Wrap for 2 minute. Massage it to circulate heat and microwave for 1 to 2
minutes based on how long you need it to keep warm.
*Tip – make sure to launder washcloths in perfume free/dye free wash detergent so no one has reaction to chemicals in detergent.

Ask guests if anyone has skin irritated by exfoliationor heat

NowForMasks:
Apply Green Tea Masque on everyone’s wrist, and tell them not to rub until
everyone has it (put about 1 teaspoon on wrist)
•Have the rub to show how it warms… then have them stop and repeat.
•Then go around with spray bottle of water. And have the rub again with water.
•Clean off with BC facial Towel that was also used for cleanser.
•Give each guest Lip Apeel on Q Tip
and have them apply like white lipstick
*TIP – If they don't feel the warmth of green tea mask it is because their skin is very dry.

Microderm Apeel
“While Lip Apeel is drying…How about we try one
more facial treatment on the back of our hands?”
•Take about ¼ teaspoon of Microderm Apeel and
place it on the back of ONE hand of each guest
•Spritz hand with water spray bottle
•Hand guest buffer and have them buff the back of
ONE hand, then hand off to next guest
•Wipe with paper towel and a little more water
•Compare back of the hand that was not treated and
the hand you used the Microderm Apeel on….”what
difference do you (guests) see?”
What Is This Treatment
Doing?
The Microderm Apeel is a
combination of
microdermabrasion and a
gentle fruit acid peel. The
microderm crystals offer a
deep exfoliation, which helps
remove black heads, even
out skin tone, smooth
scaring and discoloration.
The fruit acid peel helps to
loosen the glue that holds
dead and dying cells
together so that they slough
off easily with buffer. The
buffer can be used with a
cleanser for a deeper clean.

RemovingLipApeel
“As you hold over the towel take a dry
finger and rub off the Lip Apeel from your
lips.”
Give each guest ¼ the size of a pea of
our lip balm in the top of the Lip Apeel.
Tell them to apply it to their lips.
Explain benefits.. Then ask guests, “How
does your lips feel?”
What Is This Treatment Doing?
Explain to them that “our Lip Apeel has both
the exfoliator in the bottom and the balm in
the top of one container. The white stuff in the
bottom is called a gommage. Gommage is
French word that means to erase and a
gommage is an exfoliant that you apply wet, let
dry, and rub off. If you get a lip treatment in a
day spa, it can cost $25 - $35 for just one
treatment. This tiny jar does 70 treatments!!!”

InstantManicure
“Who would love to have silky hands? GREAT! That is what you will
have in the same amount of time as it takes to wash your hands!
No need to remove your rings and it will shine them too!”
•Take about ¼ teaspoon of the Spa Manicure scrub and place it
palm of ONE hand of each guest (do not wet until they have
scrubbed a bit. Oil can go to work most effectively if hands are dry.
•Have guests “rub your hands together , massaging scrub into
fronts and backs of hands paying special attention to cuticles.
Keep rubbing as salt will melt away!”
•Spritz with water as the keep scrubbing.
•Have guests nest hands in one another and wrap
with a warm towel. When towel cools, blot dry with washcloth
removing remaining salt crystals.
What Is This Treatment
Doing?
The Spa Manicure contains 7
essential oils (tea tree,
eucalyptus, avocado,
peppermint, etc) and dead
sea salt. It is exfoliating while
moisturizing.
No need to even put the lid
on it as it will not evaporate.
Keep it at the kitchen sink to
use after cleaning kitchen. To
always have silky hands use
EVERY DAY! Little Kids cant
get into it at the kitchen sink
but adults can!

Pour a little Tonic on a BC Facial towel
•Have them apply the Tonic on their face, avoiding eyes and lips
•Asks guests, “Why do you think we need tonic?”
•Regardless of answers, tell them: “Those are all good answers. The main reason we use
tonic is to balance the PH of our skin. Why do we care about PH balance? Because we
have an acid mantle, the thin layer, on the surface that helps protect our skin. It is our
final barrier between us and pollution and sun damage. If you don’t keep your skin’s PH
balanced, then that acid mantle can break down and leave you vulnerable to
accelerated aging and sun damage”.

and a line filler on the other so you can feel the difference

•Give each guest ½ the size of a pea of our Day Time
moisturizer to put on one side of their face.
•Give each guest 1 dropper or a squirt of our Line Minimizing
Serum (we have several, you can use the Day Serum that
came in your kit)
•If you have it, give each guest a tiny amount of Eye Serum
(apply some to the end of a spatula) to place on ONE eye so
they can see and feel the difference.
I use Extreme Eye Serum # 21075 because it has results in 15
min or less. It can feel warm on eye, that’s normal

FAQs
What If someone gets red, says “this is burning” or has a reaction: First of all DON’T PANIC this is a) uncommon, b) people can be allergic to anything and it can
happen anywhere, even at a doctors office – it doesn’t mean you did something wrong or our products are bad. I’ve had people who where allergic to aloe – one of
the most soothing things on the planet. Simply stay calm, have then rinse their face and apply our “calming fluid”* (*see next question for more info)
What to use on people who are extremely sensitive: First, when people tell me they are sensitive I ask “tell me about that, what does your skin react to?” If they tell
me things like “everything but water stings or burns,” or something to that effect I will use our sensitive skin care on them…I keep a Skinlogics Sensitive Starter Set #
21022 (cost $18 – this set included the *Protective Calming Fluid mentioned above) in my spa bag for just such an occasion. Be careful: a lot of women will say they
are sensitive (9 our of 10 in my experience), however, when asked how this sensitivity displays itself they often aren’t sure or give examples like “well Maybelline
broke me out” (our products have a much high quality ingredients than Maybelline), or “Thai food doesn’t agree with me,” or “Hallmark commercials make me cry.”
Our BC Spa Facial skin care works on 99% of the people I meet even if they say they are sensitive.
Do we sensor at spas: Yes, absolutely, I typically simply ask if guests are sensitive before beginning spa, then ask my qualifying question above and then proceed with
one type of cleanser, toner and moisturizer to simplify my spa…however, at the end if they want to purchase skin care, then you can ask more about their skin and
sensor them to make sure you order the correct product for them. Or you can use the Skincare Regimen Selector Sets-US/CN # 22338 $25
What if someone wants to sign up: Sign her up right on the spot using a laptop, iPad cell phone or consultant agreement (you can print one on beautinet>business
tools>forms on file>recruiting) – I ALWAYS HAVE ONE WITH ME EVERYWHERE I GO. Tell that person (once he or she has filled out their form online or on paper
application that we have a great orientation we provide once he/she gets her kit. It’s called BeautiYou. We want to go through the box and make sure he/she knows
how to use everything, and just for attending they get a Microderm Apeel and Buffer for FREE! Find out what date works for them and register them immediately.
Is there anything else I need for my spa: Yes, you’ll need a folder for each guest, and order forms, a set sheet (NOTE: a set sheet is a sheet with the items you
demonstrated with prices – you can get this from your recruiter or director , create it yourself, or you could even use our catalog as long as you tab the pages with
items you used that night so you aren’t having to flip back and forth looking for correct page numbers.), pens, applications (in case someone wants to sign up), a
catalog. Mainly a good attitude. Expect respect and a positive outcome.
