When bringing items to the recycling trailers, sort and separate items into the labeled compartments.
All recycled items placed in the drop-off trailers are the property of the city of Tuscaloosa. Those caught stealing items from
or tampering with the drop-off recycling trailers could be subject to criminal charges. Dumping household waste, trash and
bulky items at the drop-off trailers is prohibited. Those caught dumping these items could be charged with
illegal dumping.
Drop-off recycling trailers are emptied regularly by city of Tuscaloosa Environmental Services Department recycling crews.
