We are pleased to present to you the 2013 resume book, which contains the profiles of 36 students who are graduating in May, 2013 from MIT’s Master of Engineering in Logistics (SCM) Program. SCM is a unique and highly competitive logistics and supply chain management program for individuals with three to eight years of previous industry experience. SCM graduates leave with deep knowledge of supply chain management, operations, and engineering as well as expertise in cutting-edge practices and concepts gained through courses, in-depth research, and extensive industry interaction. Since its inception, the program has graduated over 400 logistics professionals who now work in consulting, manufacturing, retail, logistics, distribution, software, and other industries. SCM alumni are employed by companies such as: ABinBev, Dell, Frito-Lay, Toyota, Amazon, DuPont, Apple Inc., Accenture, G.E., Cummins, The Boston Consulting Group, McKinsey, Walmart, U.P.S. Consulting, The Home Depot, Staples, Harmon Kardon, Sony, Starbucks, FedEx, and many others. Their titles range from Vice President of Logistics to Senior Consultant to Supply Chain Analyst. The current SCM Class of 2013 consists of 36 students from seventeen countries and five continents. Approximately 45% are US citizens or permanent residents. The average age of the students is 30, with an average of 7 years of direct work experience in a wide range of industries, including: pharmaceuticals, high tech, transportation, IT, military, retail, software, consulting, and manufacturing.
