Two Year Workplan:
- Characterize commercial and industrial sources
- Quantify the amount of waste oils and fats impacting the sewers
- Develop capacity for biodiesel development in Ambos Nogales
- Submit biodiesel samples for ASTM standards testing
- Use 20% blend of biodiesel in emergency response vehicles
- Evaluate diesel emissions pre and post B20 use.
- Identify commercial markets for biodiesel and glycerin
- Promote public outreach regarding adequate disposal of waste fats
- Identify a strategy for expanding production
