At 12:30 P.M., the 12th annual Winter Get-Together/
Annual Club Meeting got underway.
Our first order of business was a very brief overview of
the past year’s events, with a mention, as you know by now, of the
unique styling cue photos Gene has taken. Check out Gene’s Website at http://www.east13.org, and contact Gene about contributing
a photo of your car too. Gene’s e-Mail address is

low Member participation levels in those events.
From there we quickly moved on to a discussion of what
events we were going to have, and where. A decision was made to
have our annual Club Picnic, and this year’s host will be Jeff Roscoe. Jeff’s place is located at 545 LITTLE YORK-MT. PLEASANT RD.,
MILFORD, NJ 08848. You can contact Jeff via E-Mail at coro-
Following Gene’s presentation, Member Phil Gatto showed
off an original Chrysler Banner, which had a line drawing of the
Chrysler Electronic Ignition System on it, complete with Factory Part
Numbers. Phil hopes to have this rare piece of Mopar history copied,
and framed for his personal use.
[email protected], or by phone at 908-996-4651. The date is June
28, 2015, and the event runs from 12:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M.
We also decided that this year’s Picnic will be a second
Club Meeting, at which will be go over what our Fall event is going
to look like. So PLEASE, try not to miss the Picnic, we need to de-
Our last presentation for the day was by Member Gene

cide what we are doing for our Fall event then.
After settling on that date and time of our Summer Picnic,
we moved on to discussing what we could do as a Club to make our
presence even better known to others in the hobby, and Member
Ira Alpert came up with a VERY good idea, which we will be working on implementing. Ira’s suggestion was for the Members to
gather at the Macungie Pa 52nd Annual Das Awkscht Fescht , held
in late July/August of every year. Several Members agreed that
I believe we accomplished a lot at this year’s Meeting,
groundwork was put in place to try to build up Club Membership, an
event was decided upon, and repurposed to give ALL those who can
attend, an opportunity to mold our Fall event. By the way, as of this
writing, whatever type of Fall event we decide upon in June, it will
be held at Olive Garden, Woodbridge Center, 510 Woodbridge Center
Drive, Woodbridge, NJ, 07095, (732) 726-3191, the first Sunday in

they would participate, and Martin Deutschman has already contacted the event promoters about allowing our Members to park
together at the event. As Ira pointed out, this event is the place
where other Clubs have their national meets, it would provide an
excellent way to put a face to this Club, have something to talk
about, and share with our current Members, while giving the Club
an opportunity to solicit new Members as well.
Following the event discussions, Member Gene Yetter
gave a talk on the search for, and replacement of the Gas Tank
Sending Unit in his Volare. Gene also showed us the old unit, the
Strainer that goes with it, and talked about the unique problem he
faced in getting a replacement Sending Unit, since the one his car
