It was later repainted and driven by Jo Schlesser and Andre Simon, who took third place in the

Following its 1943 introduction, the Kawanishi N1K quickly earned a reputation for being
incredibly resilient and highly maneuverable. In combat, the N1K could easily go toe-totoe against the F6F Hellcat, as well as the P-51 Mustang and the F4U Corsair. The N1K1Ja version featured four 20 mm Type 99 cannons mounted in the wings, but lacked the
frontal 7.7 mm (.303 in) Type 97s found on earlier variants. This limited edition kit features

The Blue Angels’ trainer aircraft!
Used by the Blue Angels throughout the mid-1970s and 1980s, the TA-4J Skyhawk
featured a “down-rated” engine and lacked weapons systems. 277 were built precisely to
help pilots train for the Blue Angels’ spectacular stunt shows. Many TA-4F variants were
also converted into TA-4Js for this purpose as well. After serving the Blue Angels for over

today’s Corvette collectors. Kit features the option to build a stock or custom Corvette, a
