The program is designed to assist coaches in identifying and dealing with abuse, neglect, harassment & bullying in sport. It will help coaches better identify and deal with these issues. Softball Saskatchewan now requires that all coaches be RiS certified. Adjournment Page 2 2016 AFFILIATION INFORMATION Applications for membership will be accepted from League Executives and Umpire Associations. Approved applicants will receive a membership in the Association by paying the annually set affiliation fees and submitting the required information. This year all information will be collected online. To be covered by the Softball Saskatchewan Insurance & Benefits Program, players, coaches and managers must be affiliated with Softball Saskatchewan. Information must be submitted online on or before June 1, 2016. Check our website for more details about the new affiliation process. League/Association Fee $50.00 Under 10: Learn to Play, Mites, T-Ball $12.00 Under 19: U12, U14, U16, U18 $17.00 19+: U21, Senior, Masters $17.00 Coaches, Managers, League Executives, Umpire Executives $12.00 Slo-Pitch Fee (Includes ALL players, coaches & managers) $175.00 PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONSHIPS Provincial Entry Form Deadline is June 1, 2016 at 4:00pm Faxed or emailed forms not accepted. All players and coaches must be affiliated with Softball Saskatchewan by June 1, 2016 to be eligible to enter in a Provincial Championship. Softball Saskatchewan provides the calendars at no charge and provides the Prize Board. The Calendar Draws are licensed by the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority. - Teams/Leagues must request desired amount of calendars from Softball Saskatchewan (780-9235 or email [email protected]) and they will be distributed on a first come/first serve basis. - Teams/Leagues are responsible for the selling and return of all draw entry forms (tear off insert inside each calendar used for draw purposes). - Teams/Leagues must return the full $25.00/Calendar to the Softball Saskatchewan office by July 15, 2016. A cheque will then be issued for the sellers’ share of the calendars. - Teams/Leagues will receive $17/calendar sold after all money ($25/calendar sold) is returned. Teams/ Leagues are accountable for any lost calendars. Softball Saskatchewan receives $8 per calendar sold to cover cost of prizes and printing/ production costs. A total of 57 prizes eligible to be won.
