Manor Charitable Foundation was delighted to accept a $5,000 donation
from McDougall Energy, presented
on June 22 at the annual Family Picnic hosted by Algoma Manor Nursing Home residents, staff and volunteers.

DESBARATS – Once again at Johnson-Tarbutt Public School in Desbarats,
Ms. Adamson-Barber hosted the annual Butler Day and Butler Olympics.
Staff and students bid on Grade 7/8 students to be their butlers for the
day. Butlers are asked to wear various costumes, cook, clean, and compete
in various contests, including eating disgusting combinations of food like
chocolate syrup on mashed potatoes, shown above. A great day was had by
all, but with mixed feelings as the Grade 8s graduate and leave the school.
