The Hughes healthcare project team has more than 15 years of
experience providing Joint Commission compliance evaluation
support and other fire protection and life safety services for a
number of hospitals, ambulatory care, and Veteran’s Administration
facilities. We have an in-depth understanding of national, state and
local codes and regulations. We work with the Joint Commission,
Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and various
Departments of Health.
Hughes’ services include developing Statement of Conditions and
establishing Plans for Improvement. We present facility evaluations
that document deficiencies and create guidelines for progress. Our
unique understanding of the interrelationship of fire protection, life
safety, and security bring unparalleled approaches to the evaluation
of existing facilities and construction projects from pre-design
planning through post-construction.
We review your existing systems and operations and establish
the desired new systems’ functioning characteristics. Conducting
feasibility studies and detailed code compliance reviews, Hughes
offers consulting services to direct the most advantageous results;
minimizing costly redesign and interruption of workplace activities.
