Connect to COM1 with 115200 Baud Insert the installation USB stick to one of the USB slots of the equipment Power on the equipment and hit the ‘TAB’ key permanently to access the BIOS Go to Boot > Boot node select, and set the value to ‘UEFI’ Erik Pollmann KB_IPBE_Installation Instructions-1xe_01.docx MilsIP Bulk Encryptor Installation Instructions CONFIDENTIAL Date: 2016-03-14 Version: 1 Page 3 of 5 Go to Save & Exit > Save Changes and Exit, press Enter and confirm the ‘Save & Exit Setup’ dialog with Yes The appliance reboots. Select ‘M1 MilsIP Bulk Encrpytor’ and press Enter to start the installation At the end of the installation, the device reboots automatically. Remove the USB stick 2.2 Installing R5 and R10 models Connect your PC to the Console Port of the IPBE R5/R10 equipment Start the terminal program. Depending on the desired product type select ‘R5 MilsIP Bulk Encryptor’ or ‘R10 MilsIP Bulk Encryptor’ and press Enter to start the installation At the end of the installation, the device reboots automatically. Remove the USB stick 3 MilsIPBE Initial Configuration After installation, the IPBE appliances have the following default values: IP at the Management Port: 10.255.255.100 Password: ‘6068Mil$’ To configure the equipment, proceed as follows: Connect your PC to the Management Port (= Port 1) of the MilsIPBE equipment Start a web browser and login with the default IP and the default password mentioned above Perform the Initial Configuration as described in the Manual.
