confirm that it was applied in error to the previous item, minor peripheral faults repaired with archival
tape but the condition is far superior to the previous lot.
1926 cover endorsed "per aerial Mail" with scarce franking of Third Wmk 6d brown & 2/- maroon +
KGV 4½d all cancelled on arrival with 'MRR/GPO/PERTH' cds. [The rate was 1½d per ounce + 3d
airmail per ½oz so this letter weighed 4½oz]

a president of the American Forestry Association while CLP's biography revealed his presidency of the

Outrageous accumulation of mostly stampless military covers from WWI, WWII and between the wars
with an extraordinary array of military cachets. The later material includes many covers with Definitive
adhesives some overprinted 'Official' some of which have Express labels etc. The quality generally
seems to be very fine. This is obviously a very extensive and probably comprehensive collection but it
will take hours to even put it into order. Our guess is that there are over 1000 covers so this must
represent an excellent opportunity for a new interest or to give a huge boost to an existing collection.
