Creating the Acadia All Terrain meant balancing its obvious rugged capabilities with a premium, ultra-supportive
environment. We began by designing a cabin and seat environment inspired by outdoor gear. Then we added front

PREMIUM SEATING To enhance ride enjoyment, newly designed seats provide exceptional comfort. Acadia offers
the choice of available heated or heated and vented (on Denali) front seats and available second-row heated seats.
AUTHENTIC MATERIALS The satin-finish aluminum trim is inspired by today’s refined products and furnishings.
Cabin accents feature linear patterns and low-gloss finishes for a sophisticated appearance. Denali presents
authentic wood accents and embroidered front head restraints and its own warm-tone burnished aluminum
for a distinctive style.
INTEGRATED STORAGE Ingeniously positioned storage bins don’t interrupt cabin flow. In the second row,
a rear-facing console drawer (not available on All Terrain) is the ideal place to secure small electronics. There’s even
a rubber-lined compartment under the climate controls that is removable and dishwasher-safe.
INSTRUMENT PANEL DESIGN To provide the best ergonomics, Acadia presents information and controls in an
easy, at-a-glance style, while a soft-touch surface offers a premium feel.

Acadia is here to accommodate. Perhaps the best enabler of this versatility is the new second-row Smart Slide
seats that require just one hand to easily access the third row.
NEW SMART SLIDE SEATS The latest innovation in seats known for innovations allows the second-row passenger
Smart Slide seat to tip, pitch and slide for easy third-row access—even when a car seat is attached. The pitch/slide
option on the driver’s side of the seat folds and slides the second row, offering ample room for entry and exit. And it
can all be done using just one hand.
NUMEROUS SEATING/CARGO ARRANGEMENTS Acadia’s remarkable versatility ensures comfortable
accommodations for all passengers while still providing expansive cargo capacity. A new innovation is a flat 50/50
split-folding third-row bench seat that makes cargo loading easier while preventing items from sliding around. Also
new are release levers that allow you to easily fold the second-row seat from the rear of Acadia.
HANDS-FREE POWER LIFTGATE Acadia Denali features the convenience of a foot-activated power liftgate.
Non-Denali models also benefit from a key fob-operated programmable and height-adjustable power liftgate.

Since we only have eyes in the front of our heads, Acadia Denali offers GMC’s first-ever use of an available Surround Vision
Camera. It gives you a bird’s-eye view of the area surrounding your Acadia. Safety features are no substitute for the
driver’s responsibility to operate the vehicle in a safe manner. The driver should remain attentive to traffic, surroundings
and road conditions at all times. Read the vehicle Owner’s Manual for more important safety information.
SURROUND VISION CAMERA On Denali models, an available Surround Vision
Camera replaces the Rear Vision Camera to offer a view around Acadia. It is
helpful for reducing blind spots and viewing pavement markings, other
vehicles, curbs and general surroundings.
REAR CROSS TRAFFIC ALERT It’s available to help alert you to oncoming
traffic, especially in parking lot situations. Using radar technology, it looks
about 20 metres to the left and right behind Acadia and uses the Rear Vision
Camera screen and Safety Alert Driver Seat (if equipped) to issue warnings.
LANE KEEP ASSIST This new available feature helps the driver keep Acadia in its lane
to avoid unintentional lane changes. It assists by gently turning the steering wheel if
Acadia approaches a detected lane marking without the turn signal being activated.
SAFETY ALERT DRIVER SEAT Relaying inputs from Forward Collision Alert and Lane Keep Assist, this available
seat helps alert the driver of potential traffic danger using directional vibration pulses within the seat cushion.
ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL1 Denali models with available Full-Speed
Range Adaptive Cruise Control and Front Automatic Braking use a
radar-based system with a 110 metre range.
FORWARD COLLISION ALERT This available system helps warn you when
you’re rapidly approaching another vehicle and it appears a collision is
imminent. New for 2017, it now includes a Following Distance Indicator in
the DIC that displays the following time in seconds from the vehicle ahead.
FRONT PEDESTRIAN BRAKING This available system issues audible
and seat-vibration alerts when Acadia is getting too close to a
pedestrian and will take measures to reduce Acadia’s speed to help
avoid or reduce the impact.
LANE CHANGE ALERT WITH SIDE BLIND ZONE ALERT 2 Available Side Blind Zone
Alert uses sensors to monitor blind spots, alerting you via visual warnings. Working
with Side Blind Zone Alert, available Lane Change Alert uses long-range radar
to help detect and warn you of fast-approaching traffic in the next lane.

We can’t repave the roads or change the weather, but now Acadia can make it seem that way. To do that, Acadia offers
several new ride and handling technologies, as well as new powerfully efficient engine options for 2017. Obviously, our

ADVANCED ALL-WHEEL-DRIVE SYSTEM WITH ACTIVE TWIN-CLUTCH (Included
on All Terrain) This new innovation heightens off-road capability by applying
torque to the wheel that needs it most.
CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE RIDE CONTROL To produce a smoother, controlled
ride, the available system automatically minimizes vibrations using sophisticated
sensors to tailor the suspension personality to fit the moment.
DRIVE MODE SELECTOR For the ultimate in versatility, this new available
feature allows you to select how Acadia responds and adapts to various
driving conditions. It allows for real-time control based on changing conditions.
You select the desired driving mode in real time to adapt to terrain and
weather—Sport, Snow and, on AWD models, going from FWD to AWD and
vice versa on the fly.

To help you pursue your weekend passions, we engineered Acadia with a trailering capability of up to 1814 kg1 when used with the 3.6L V6 engine.
HILL START BRAKE ASSIST Sensors automatically detect when Acadia is on a 5 percent grade or
more. The system holds the brakes momentarily, preventing rollback.
TOW/HAUL MODE To give you even more power to accelerate when trailering or hauling heavy loads,
the available Tow/Haul mode feature raises transmission upshift points.
REAR VISION CAMERA AND ACTIVE TOW SYSTEM The centre screen serves as your monitor for
the camera. Its dynamic grid lines help when hitching a trailer. The new available Active Tow System
adds a centre grid line to help when backing up or hitching a trailer and real-time viewing of your trailer
while you’re moving.
V6 TRAILERING PACKAGE It includes a factory-installed hitch, 7-pin wiring harness and the new
Active Tow System in the Rear Vision Camera. This available package boosts Acadia’s trailer weight
rating to 1814 kg.1
TRAILER SWAY CONTROL Keeps both you and your trailer heading in the same direction, automatically.
It detects a swaying trailer and applies Acadia’s brakes to help bring it back in line.

Adaptive Cruise Control is no substitute for the driver’s personal responsibility to operate the vehicle in a safe manner.
