Becoming a member of the CBE Private Club
1. The CBE annual membership card is nominative and non-transferable.
2. The access to the Spa premises is unlimited, 7 days a week, including
aquagym classes.
3. Children ages 3 to 16 years old accompanied by an adult Member are
welcomed to the swimming pool on Wednesday from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
and on Sunday from 10:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

During the first year, new members are granted : *
– a group introduction on nutritional principles
– a health assessment performed by a physio therapist
– an aesthetics advice session
– an advice session at the Hair Spa by Aveda
– a two-hour personal training session
– 12 guest passes to be used during the card’s year of issuance
– 5% rebate on all the CBE “ A la Carte ” treatments and classes outstanding
* All these introductions and advices sessions are to be consumed during the
first year’s membership card.

Upon membership renewal, you are granted :
– 12 guests passes to be used during the card’s issued year
– 5% rebate on all “ A la Carte ” prices for treatments and private classes
– A 13th month is offered following the renewal of a second consecutive year
( same dates ! )

The registration form is at your disposal upon request at the Spa reception
or directly on our website at www.lausanne-palace.com.
Nota
The membership renewal is not automatic. The CBE reserves the right not to renew a membership card in case its holder’s behaviour should not meet the Spa’s
rules and regulations. In order to keep your file up-to-date, we kindly ask you for a
renewed health certificate as well as your credit card details.

Our Spa receptionists will advise you on the proper attire for your treatment
(for instance, shiatsu and thaï massages are practised fully clothed).
The appointment begins and ends on time so as not to penalize the following customer. Any improper behaviour during a treatment will bring it to an
immediate halt.
We recommend you avoid having a heavy meal just before your treatment,
and abstain from drinking alcohol before and afterwards.
Once your treatment is over, take time to relax and re-hydrate yourself by
drinking herbal tea or water, graciously available at the Spa.

For an optimal enjoyment of your treatment
We advise you to arrive at the Spa at least 15 minutes prior to the time of
your massage or treatment.

All reservations must be guaranteed by a credit card number or an advance
payment. Should this not be the case, the tentative reservation will be cancelled and the time slot made available again.
PREMISES
For any reservation made 24 hours or less prior to an appointment, the last
minute cancellations or no-shows for all spa menu reservations made within
24 hours will be fully charged.

Spa use rules
You are entering a haven of wellness, relaxation and peace: here are a few rules
to follow in order to make your experience a fully enjoyable one.
Hygiene and security within the Spa premises
In order to ensure the highest quality standards for all CBE activities and for
the well-being of all, very strict hygiene and security norms have been set.
We kindly ask our customers to respect the following prescriptions:

Towels and headphones for the gym are available.
Wearing jewellery is not recommended, since it can impede treatments or
burn the skin (in the sauna and hammam). Our receptionists will gladly keep
your jewellery and valuables in the CBE Reception’s safe.

For pool and jacuzzi use, wearing a bathing suit is mandatory, whereas in the
sauna, hammam and Vitality Bath, we recommend you remain naked for
your own comfort.

Proper attire
To use the gym and for group classes, we recommend you wear comfortable
sports clothes as well as indoor sports shoes (preferably white-soled).
PREMISES
The Managements of the CBE and of the Lausanne Palace & Spa will not be
held responsible in case of accident, theft or loss.

Clients who will not follow these prescriptions or whose behaviour is inappropriate will be denied access to the CBE.
Closing
The Managements of the CBE and of the Lausanne Palace & Spa are allowed
to close the Spa for maintenance and cleaning work, as well as for special
events. The closing dates will be published in advance at both the Spa and the
Lausanne Palace.
