INTRODUCTION
DAKSHINA KARNATAKA SUNNI CENTRE popularly known as DKSC was
founded in the year 1995 with the objective of providing quality education to the
needy and destitute children of our community residing in coastal Karnataka
region. Establishment of AL IHSAN EDUCATION CENTRE, a prominent
educational institution located in Muloor Udupi (near Mangalore) in a sprawling
campus along NH 66 was realization of the above objective, which came into
existence only with the help of pious, dedicated and benevolent members of
DKSC working abroad, Al-Hamdu Lillah. The Institution now shelters around 1200
students including Orphans and destitute. English Medium Academy School,
Residential School, Primary & Secondary Madrasa, Urdu Madrasa, Computer
training Centre, Hifzul Qura'an Centre, Shariyath College, Primary to High School
and PU College are running under its care.
Under the apt leadership of President Sayed Ata Koya Thangal Kumbol, the past
years were an era of profound achievements for DKSC and its dedicated
members, imparting knowledge to thousands of children, guiding them towards
educational excellence at AL IHSAN EDUCATION CENTRE.
Considering the problems of female children that our community face while
pursuing higher education, DKSC has embarked on its ambitious project of setting
up a state of the art Women's college, the construction of which is underway. Once
completed, our children can pursue degree course along with religious education
and technical diploma courses.
Our Beloved Prophet Muhammad (SA) said “One who facilitates the way in search
of knowledge; Allah will lead his way to the Holy Jannath”.
