How Amoena PurFit Works
Patient is in the early phases of tissue expansion on her left side
and is in need of volume in order to symmetrically match her
natural breast so she can fill out the bra cup completely —
and feel more confident.
Using the fiberfill, the Amoena
PurFit enhancer is adjusted
to the desired volume, and
is centered over the tissue
expander. The silicone shell
provides a natural shape.

the patient feel secure and
confident with a symmetrical
silhouette throughout the
expansion process.
PurFit Care Instructions
After removing the fiberfill and silicone insert, the Amoena PurFit Adjustable Enhancer should be hand washed with
a gentle detergent, then laid flat to dry. The silicone shell should be cleaned using the general cleaning instructions
for breast forms as mentioned above.

Amoena Balance Contact features a skin-friendly adhesive on the back layer that allows the shaper to adhere directly
to the body — following every movement. With the addition of Comfort+ to the Contact shaper, perspiration behind
the shaper is reduced, creating a more secure adhesion. It is recommended to wear a Contact shaper with a bra for
added security.

How to use the Amoena Contact
Application of the Amoena Contact
Cleanse your chest wall thoroughly with Amoena Skin Preparation Tonic. Afterwards, make sure the area is
completely dry. The cleaner and drier your skin, the better the breast form will adhere. Please do not touch
the adhesive surface of the breast form as this may affect adhesion.
1. Slide your bra
strap down over your
shoulder and slip your
arm out. Lean forward.
2. Using the hand
on your non-operated
side, take hold of your
bra strap and pull the
bra cup away from
your body.
3. Take the breast
form in your other
hand and, still leaning
forward, place it in the
cup of your bra. Make
sure that the breast
form sits perfectly in
the cup of your bra.
5. Place your free hand
on the outside of the
bra cup. Slowly stand
upright, pressing the
breast form in the cup
carefully into place on
your body.
6. Pull your bra strap
up over your shoulder
and press the breast
form once more to
make sure it is firmly
attached.
7. Check the fit. If
the position of the
breast form needs to
be adjusted, simply
remove the breast form
and reposition.
1. Grasp the breast
form with one hand
and lean forward until
you feel the weight of
the breast form in
your hand.
2. Starting at a point
furthest from your scar
area, pull the breast
form carefully away
from your body.
3. If the adhesive
surface accidentally
sticks together during
removal, it can be easily
separated by holding
under running water.
4. The fingertips
should be placed as
close as possible to
the edge of the breast
form.
5. Please be careful
with longer fingernails
— they might damage
the film.

positioned at the top
of the bra cup where
it joins the strap.
Removal of the Amoena Contact
Cleaning the Amoena Contact breast form
1. Put three drops
of the Soft Cleanser
on the dry adhesive
surface and then
moisten the special
brush with lukewarm
water.
2. Now scrub the
adhesive surface with
the special brush firmly
for about three minutes
in circular movements.
3. Then rinse with
plenty of lukewarm
water.
4. Finally allow to air-dry.

substances. It is also suitable for

It is free of PEG/PEG derivatives,
dyes and parabens.
Amoena Skin Preparation Tonic
Wipes ensure gentle and thorough
cleansing of the skin. They remove
dead skin cells and should always
be used before wearing the Amoena
Contact breast form for the best
adhesion. The new formulation is
very mild to sensitive skin and free of
preservatives, dyes and perfumes.
The brush is specially designed for
Amoena Contact and has very soft
rounded bristles which will not harm
the adhesive surface.
Amoena newly re-formulated Skin
Balance Gel-Cream is developed
especially for women who wear the
Amoena Contact breast form and
contains moisturizing nutrients,
yet it will not affect adhesion of
the breast form. The gentle Skin
Balance Gel-Cream has been
dermatologically tested and contains
natural ingredients such as avocado
oil, hamamelis and bisabolol (the
active substance of chamomile),
and arginine along with vitamins
like pro-vitamin B5 and vitamin E.

Amoena recommends daily cleaning to ensure breast forms
and symmetry shapers remain in good condition.
Breast forms other than Amoena Contact should be cleaned
with a gentle soap, such as the Amoena Soft Cleanser
and lukewarm water. The form can be dried with a soft cloth
or towel.
The use of talcum powder and body lotions on or around
the area where the breast form is placed should be avoided.
When not in use, the breast form should be kept in the
cradle provided in the soft carrying case or breast form box.
Amoena Contact
Different care and cleaning processes are required
for Amoena Contact breast form. Please refer to
the instruction guide packaged with the breast form
or to pg.23 of this catalogue.
Breast Form Warranty
Amoena breast forms and symmetry shapers are warranted

Amoena scarves are designed with a “cap” to fit perfectly on the crown of the head. Each of these looks
starts with the scarf sitting comfortably on a woman‘s head, sashes hanging loosely in the back. There’s
no complicated folding or twisting and these variations should remain secure with little fuss.

Cup
• Is she overflowing the cup either at the center front, the
underarm or under the band? If so, try a larger cup.
• M ake sure she fills out the top of the cup. Soft breast
tissue can puddle down in the cup. If so, try a smaller or
more shallow bra style.
Band
• The band should be snug, but not tight.
• M ake sure the band (front and back) is parallel to the floor
or lower in the back.
• If breast tissue is slipping out below the band, try a size
that is “down-in-the-band, up-in-the-cup.”
