Make Humpty Dumpty sitting on
a wall.
HUMPTY DUMPTY
You will need:
• copy of activity template
• coloured pencils, crayons or textas
• 1 piece of thin card (cereal box or similar)
approx. 23cm x 15cm
• scissors
• glue & tape
• wool or ribbon

Instructions
Adult supervision is essential
when making and playing
with home made toys.
Involve and talk with your child as much
as possible while creating this activity.
1. Colour in the Humpty Dumpty templates and cut out.
2. Glue Humpty’s arms to his body.
3. Cut 2 pieces of wool approx. 6cm long. Tape a shoe
to one end of each piece of wool.
4. Tape Humpty’s legs to his body.
5. Fold the piece of card in half and stand up to form the
wall. (see diagram)
6. Colour in the brick templates and cut out. Glue them
in whatever pattern you choose onto the wall.
7. Glue Humpty to the top of the wall.
Ideas
Stick velcro dots to the back of Humpty and to the wall so
your child can make him sit on the wall and then fall off.
You could make similar activities with Incy Wincy Spider at
the top of her drainpipe and then falling down or Jack &
Jill falling down the hill.
