Glass that will “blow” you away
Take a trip down to Hazel’s
Blown Glass Factory on Valley
Road (G-6) where continuous
demonstrations by a team of four
passionate and talented craftsmen
take place every day.
Watch as each creation begins
with a gathering of molten glass
from the “Day Tank” at 2200 degrees.
The glass is then transferred to the
“Glory Hole” where at 2400 degrees
it’s heated “white hot” to become
workable in the artists’ hands. Many
tools are used to shape the glass and
the work of art will revisit the Glory
Hole time and time again to be
reheated during the process. But,
once the artisan gets it to the point
of perfection, it will be placed in the
900 degrees “Annealar” where the
glass slowly cools at this final stage.
As addictive as it is to watch
each piece come to life, it’s an even
bigger addiction to pick out the
perfect pieces to enhance or start a
collection like our one-of-a-kind oil
bottles!
Shawn Watt is the shop’s
Master Craftsman. He has worked
in studios around the country and
even across the globe! “It’s exciting
to not only be a part of the 5,000 year
history of glassmakers in general,
but even more fulfilling to be a part
of the rich heritage of craftsmen at
The City!” Watt is surrounded by the
creative geniuses of Kaden Myers,
Tim Weldon and Sam Aldridge.
A famed Silver Dollar City
craftsman once said, “…long after
I’m gone, there will be all of these
pieces of me that will live on.” Take
home your “piece” of the City from
Hazel’s Blown Glass Factory today!
The Nightrider Knife blade is made up of ball bearings and
powdered nickel steel forged into a unique pattern. It is
dressed with a blackwood handle and secured with a themed
leather sheath. The Nightrider Knife celebrates the men and
women who have served or who are currently fighting for our
freedom at night while we sleep.

from the park without compensation.
Before Enjoying Our Rides - For your safety, some rides have height, health, size and/or age restrictions.
Please read the posted Safety and Rider Responsibility advisories at each ride. All guests are required to
be restrained on applicable attractions through the use of shoulder harnesses, lap bars, seat belts, etc.,
that must be positioned properly. (Neither ride personnel nor guests may use excessive force to secure a
restraint system.) Larger or taller guests may experience difficulty on The Giant Barn Swing, PowderKeg,
WildFire, FireFall, Thunderation, Fire-In-The-Hole or Outlaw Run. For your convenience, test seats are
available at PowderKeg, Outlaw Run and WildFire. Loose articles are not permitted on most rides. (This
includes: hats, purses, cell phones, cameras, bags, personal electronics, pocket change, etc. Waist or
fanny packs are not permitted on The Giant Barn Swing, FireFall, PowderKeg, Thunderation, Outlaw Run
or WildFire.) Please leave valuables with a non-rider or secure them in park lockers, available for rent.
Unsecured storage bins are available at most rides, however, Silver Dollar City cannot take responsibility
for lost, stolen or damaged articles. Some rides may close during inclement weather or for required
maintenance, but will reopen as soon as possible. A Ride/Attraction Guidebook is available at the Front
Gate and Ride/Attraction locations.
Accessibility information is available at guest relations.
Ride Swap Program - Guests with children not meeting height requirements may enjoy rides by
notifying the greeter at the ride of their situation. One adult will be allowed to ride while the second waits
with kid(s). On the following ride cycle, the adults will “swap” places. Due to the nature of high thrill rides,
guests will not be permitted to ride consecutively.
Re-Admission - If you leave and plan to return on the same day, you must retain your ticket for re-entry.
Wildlife On Park - During your visit you will see critters that call Silver Dollar City home (squirrels, birds,
bats, chipmunks and more). For your safety please do not touch or disturb them as they are still "wild"
animals.
Notice: Silver Dollar City crews may be filming/ recording/ photographing scenes on park. Please be
advised that your presence grants your authorization for the use of your image in media, advertising and
promotional materials. Thanks for your cooperation.

exit to lessen your wait in traffic.
1st Alternate Route: At the intersection of Hwy. 76 & 265, turn right onto Hwy. 265. Follow
this to the intersection of Hwy. 376 and turn left at the light returning to Branson.
2nd Alternate Route: At the intersection of Hwy. 76 & 465, turn left (North) onto Hwy. 465
(Ozark Mountain Highroad). Continue to the Hwy. 465 / 65 Interchange where you can head
