Uterus
Trans-vaginal Fertiloscopy
For assessing physical causes of infertility
Fertiloscopy is the only method of primary screening
and corrective surgery for physical causes of
infertility that provides gold standard accuracy in an
outpatient setting.
Fertiloscopy allows transvaginal laparoscopy,
salpingoscopy, micro-salpingoscopy and hysteroscopy
procedures to be carried out in a single 15 minute
procedure.
The Fertiloscopy Kit consists of two disposable
introducers: a 2,9 mm uterine introducer and a 4,0
mm transvaginal introducer.
The uterine introducer is placed in the uterine
cavity and used for injection of dye during the tubal
patency test.
The transvaginal introducer is inserted in the Pouch
of Douglas after first puncturing with a standard
Veress needle, using saline as a distension medium.
Through the transvaginal introducer, a 2,9 mm
hysteroscope with 4 mm irrigation sheath, 30 degree
oblique lens and magnification should be inserted for
carrying out Fertiloscopy.

Gel Instillation Sonohysterography (GIS®) allows for
high quality ultrasound imaging of the uterine cavity.
The GIS® Kit consists of a syringe of ExEm gel and a
specially designed catheter. By using ExEm gel and
the catheter, backflow is eliminated and images are
obtained in a stable manner without the need for an
extra hand. The quality of the ultrasound
examination is improved and results
in a virtual hysteroscopy.

Hysterosalpingo “Foam” Sonography kit
For tubal patency check with clear results
The ExEm® Foam Kit gives a bright visualization of
the fallopian tubes and enables easy recognition of
tubal patency when performing Hysterosalpingo Foam
Sonography (HyFoSy).
The ExEm Foam Kit consists of 10 ml ExEm gel, 10 ml
purified water, a 20 ml mixing syringe and a syringe
connector.
The ExEm gel is a gel that creates an echogenic foam
when mixed with purified water and air. During HyFoSy
the fallopian tubes and the “spill” into the abdomen will
be reflected clearly on the ultrasound monitor for a short
period of time. If not, the passage of one or both tubes is
disturbed.

of the foam and to cause minimal inconvenience to
the patient, as no balloon is inflated. Two versions are
available: with lamellae or beads.

HS Balloon catheters

The HS Catheter is a soft latex-free balloon catheter
designed to seal the uterus during infusion and
provide a clear picture of the uterine cavity, with
minimal obstruction of the internal os. Ideal for saline
