Shailer left PBBNZ in June and the new Shorthorn Registrar is
Megan Ellett. Megan has been with the company for eight years
and a lot of you will be familiar with her in her previous role of
Tag Sales & Administration.

OBITUARY
Brian Ody, Glenrossie Shorthorns
Passed away 30th June 2016
Brian and his brother Will started the Beef Shorthorn stud in 1969
with the purchase of some Stud Loch females from Malcolm Anderson
and the imported bull Burnton Banter.
The most recent sale was the 20th Annual Bull Sale, after many years
of private sales.
Brian died after an accident at home which caused a brain
haemorrhage. He was aged 74 and was still a major force on
the farm. Still working all day, every day, as well as doing the
administration, accounting and organisation.
JOHN & HELEN REEVES
He will be very sadly missed as a husband, father, brother and
fountain of knowledge. He was a great friend to many in the
community, having helped and supported many people through
tough times and was always willing to lend an ear or a helping hand
whenever it was required.
John & Helen were presented with Life Membership
certificate and Life Member badges at the AGM dinner.
There was a great turnout for the occasion and we managed
to keep this as a complete surprise for John & Helen.
