Public transport discount for
conference delegates:
The city of Lucerne operates a dense
public transport network of buses and
trolleybuses. Conference delegates and
participants at corporate events in
Lucerne are now eligible for a discounted
day ticket of only CHF 4.90 (instead of
CHF 10.00) on public transport. The day
tickets can be obtained by the organisers
through the Lucerne Convention Bureau.
The Lucerne Exhibition Centre and the
swissporarena can now be reached in
only 2 minutes from Lucerne railway
station; trains run every 15 minutes.

Treehouse
Caves at Gruebisbalm/Rigi
The historic Town Hall Tower in the Old
Town offers an authentic ambience for
cocktails and cosy evening events.
The tower was built in the 15th century and
is, with its height of 43 meters, a beautiful
viewpoint. Once the tower served as a
guard and observation tower. Today, it is
the locale of the society «Fidelitas
Lucernensis».
The treehouse is situated in the village of
Hildisrieden, on a huge oak tree. The place
is very quiet because the treehouse
is far removed from traffic roads. The
spectacular panoramic view of the Alps
and Lake Sempach make the treehouse an
excellent place to be.
Have you ever had a party behind a
waterfall? Hundreds of candles decorate
the 100,000-year-old cave. The caves at
Gruebisbalm offer you “Swissness” in this
special atmosphere with a wide selection
of foods, drinks and entertainment for
your special occasion.
