About the report
This report describes Yayork plastical products (S.Z) Co., LTD. operations adhere to sustainable
development and social responsibility, which is an inalienable part of Yayork Company values within
these decades since Yayork founded.
Here we‘re taking our best efforts to provide high-quality
products and technology to meet the requirements of customer’s highest expectation. In this report
we have showed our company how to protect our employee’s safety and rights, we provide the
suitable environment and situation adapt to our society progress, such as energy saving, using
eco-friendly raw material and so on. It can be seem the effect on our client, our supplier and our employees.
From management to employee, we have a system to implementation the social responsibility from
management to employee, such as, KPI System, Safety system and so on. In the report we present our
best practice to clarify the social sustainability development.

This report covers Yayork company 2010 annual ecological and social development important issues,
which also covers the financial statements concerned with the production process, and production
related environmental protection index adopted company production data. Any serious accidents
have occurred during the reporting period, we reflected in this report faithfully.

Our sustainable development strategy includes all phases of value chain. Our goal is to improve the
company itself and products improving more continuously
1.6.1 R&D
Innovation is our economic foundation and the cornerstone of sustainable development.The company
must have highly innovative to development. In 2010, Yayork has invested RMB1.5 million on
researching and training for future progressing to our R&D division.
1.6.2 Raw material
Sustainability concept can be extended to the raw materials management, natural resources
conservation and protection, etc.
For years to come, we have already started to use the
environmental protection materials to optimize our product performance, e.g.: low CO2 emission
fabric. Our core goal is to develop the recycling and renewable materials continuously.

Those the reduction on energy, exhaust and environmental burden etc. to our production process are
related to our quality commitment. We are always aggressively in seeking the improvement to the
safety and energy saving for our production. So as to achieve our occupational safety and

2.2 Standard on implement
It’s very important to carry out the verify on environment and social standard with our customer in our
production management. In 2010, we have verified 39 times on safety, health, and EHS, which have
corrected estimated 102 subjects. For example, employee to wear the PPE, non-obstructed to the
evacuation pass, regular inspection to the emergency indication and so on.
Meanwhile, we also have reached the agreement on internal verify and control between Accounting,
Purchasing, Sales, Marketing and IT department, which can be safety and efficient for future’s work.

Yayork company shall never gain the benefits by violating the laws and regulations, which will break fair
competition, damage our credit and reputation. We definitely oppose the activities violating laws,
regulations or standards. What’s more, our employees think the fair and health work environment is very
important.
We also have built related disciplinary measures for the illegal activities. However, there are
36 employees received the written warning letter and 7 employees were terminated the contract in 2010.
2.5 Risk management
To deal with the risks rapidly and effectively is a key point for the company to survive and grow up in
the industry. For continuous operation and risk control, the company periodically checks and
analyzes those important environment factors and potential risk sources, and then build the
countermeasures and emergency response plan. And the company organizes the drill and practice
each year as per the emergency response plan to ensure all the department know how to deal with
and control the situation and give ultimate assistance and support.

To make sure the employee be in good health, the company set up the onsite clinic and periodically
organize the health check. We also try to remove any factors affecting people’s health from workshop, and
study how to deal with the increasing workload and pressure. The company pay more attention to

一、心理輔導室地址: 司機房旁邊貨櫃屋第二間;
二、成立時間:2008 年 02 月 1 日;
三、服務事項:

針對新進員工第一個月每週至少一次訪談,了解新進員工工作/
學習進度,上班單位工作安排狀況,生活環境與人際相處是否適應等;
2、一般員工必須接受至少半年一次心理輔導,凡輔導洽談當中有
必要定期追蹤者,建檔定期追蹤;
3、
針對員工投訴不當管教之管理幹部,必須約談當事之管理幹部,
了解其管理模式,設法導正並從旁協助,最後建檔定期追蹤,此項服務

Our goal: zero work injury
No work injury is our always goal! It’s too much to us even only one accident. In 2010, there is no
serious accidents occurred on Yayork employee or other people worked in Yayork. To make the goal
come true, we have built the interim target based on 2010 situation that the minor work injury
accidents shall be decreased by 20% before 2012.
5.1 OHSAS
We consistently implement the standard of EHS management system, meanwhile, enhance the
employees’ conscious of occupational health and safety.
By periodical training, instant message
and HSE activities, our employee learnt how to manage themselves and recognize the risk to avoid
accidents. Our company has obtained the certificate of ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 in year 2006,
and we passed the SGS assessment with no inconformity.
5.2 Safety Management
To assure good safety management, our company has built the HSE team and assigned professional
persons to perform the regular security check, daily safety management, risk management and all other
EHS issues. Each workshop also has the responsible person to remove the hidden troubles and follow up.
In 2010, we have improved 139 sets machine, the improvement rate is 83%.

6.1 EHS POLICY
EHS Policy: To built a environmental and safe company, world class company!
6.2 Environmental improvement
In 2010, the company has invested RMB2350000 to improve the sewage disposal system and exhaust
emission system, to install the solar water heater instead of the boiler. In order to improve the workshop air
quality, company invested RMB 2.38 million to build those air circulation exhaust emission facility and so
on by the qualified and professional vendor since August 2010,

6.4 Comply with the Laws and Regulations
The company employ the consulting company to regularly collect and update the laws and regulations and
evaluate our compliance , then work out the compliance action plan. Our operation is definitely right and
legal in theory and laws.
6.5 Environmental activities
6.5.1 Check the emission of greenhouse gases and low carbon
Complying with company and customer’s requirement, we have setup the team to fulfill the energy saving
and emission reducing projects. According to the standard of GHG Protocol, ISO14064-1 and IPCC
Guideline-2006, we checked the situation of GHG discharge in 2010, it’s rated as grade 2. Company is
studying and seeking for methods to reduce GHG discharge to minimum the adverse effect on climate,
then becomes a green enterprise.
In 2010, the GHG discharge volumn is about 10567.4536 tons in total, 7.377% of CO2 was discharged
from diesel generator, company cars or transport vehicles, fire extinguisher, refrigerant and so on,
92.623% from electricity. We are planning to decline the CO2 emission by 5% on the base of 2010.
6.5.2 Pollution prevention
To protect the environment and comply with standards requested by country and customer, we ensure the
good pollution discharge system, renovate and advance related facilities. Besides, we performs the
assessment regularly and then improve the findings.

To reduce the usage of natural resources, the company investigated the usage of energy in 2010 and work
out the energy saving program accordingly. To save the energy, company renovated the pollution
discharge facilities and adopted energy saving technology, and each department has set the detailed
energy saving action plan.

1. Company has invested RMB439000 to install the solar water heater and other facilities in
employee dormitory.
6.6 Green products management
To save energy, reduce the pollution emission and protect the earth, company sustain to develop green
environmental-friendly products.
We try to source the eco-friendly materials, and the products are periodically tested by the third party to
ensure no toxic substances. Company also setup the rules to control, storage, and use the chemicals.

8 . Purchasing and Supplier Management
8.1
Expectations to Suppliers
Company shall take the responsibility of managing the supply chain and ensure the supplier is a company
with sustainable development and good social responsibility. We have to strictly comply with the company
policy and standard while select a supplier.
8.2 Supplier Evaluation
We have both internal and international suppliers and partners, and about 80% purchased in China. For
the assessment, we concentrate more on the risk from supplier itself than the risk of purchase quantity.
8.3 Result of 2010 Supplier Evaluation
Self evaluation: Based on the industrial questionnaire, company has built the self assessment Policy which
displays our expectations on safe, health, environment, quality, human rights, and so on. The suppliers or
partners who received the assessment in 2010, it found 85% of them can meet our standard and the other
15% is willing to improve to achieve the standard. The cooperation shall be determined once the supplier
was found any illegal activities.
Audit and risk assessment: We’ll focus on evaluating the suppliers systematically, and will increase the
purchasing quantity to those suppliers who passed the audit.
Further development: The purpose of supplier evaluation is not only to protect our credit or legality but also
to improve the sustainable development of supply chain. We hope to work closely with the suppliers to
optimize the supply chain by sharing the knowledge, improving the process, fully utilize the materials,
training and so on.
