Stables
Enjoy a 30 minute horse-drawn carriage ride around the
grounds for $20 a person. Make it a romantic ride for two with
our champagne special. For an additional $20, you will receive
a bottle of J-Roget Champagne, Big Cedar Chocolates, and
two Big Cedar champagne flutes.

Goin’ Jessi Evening Boat Cruises: Step aboard the Goin’ Jessi, an exact
replica of a 1934 Chris Craft, complete with walnut and teak polished
wood and a 353 Ford Marine V8 motor. This exact copy of an original
Chris Craft Boat was named after Jessi Colter, Waylon Jennings’ wife.
The Goin’ Jessi belonged to Waylon, who has stayed numerous times at
Big Cedar and even has a cabin that is dedicated to him. With her inboard
motor, she was built for cruising and will take you on an hour long cruise
on Table Rock Lake. Just sit back and let your captain take you for a
relaxing sightseeing excursion. $125 for 2 people, $10 for each additional guest.
Can take up to 6 people total. Offered daily: 4:30pm, 6:00pm, and 7:30pm.
Guided Bow Fishing: Learn this unique method of fishing that uses
specialized archery equipment to shoot and retrieve fish. Fish are
shot with a barbed arrow that is attached with a special line to a reel
mounted on the bow of the boat. Offered daily starting at dusk for
approximately 2.5 hours. Must be 12 years or older. If under the age of 18
must be accompanied with an adult. Limited to two people per boat plus guide.
$150/per person or $225 for two people.

Campfire Wagon Rides: Check out the campfire wagon ride where you
can enjoy some good ‘ol cowboy entertainment while making s’mores and

Same day reservations are welcome but cannot be cancelled without penalty. Cancellations received within 24 hours will be penalized by charging
your account. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on
all complimentary events. Reminder: All games and recreational equipment
can be checked out at Guest Services.
Fitness Classes: 60 minute workouts held Monday-Saturday. Must be 18
years & up to participate. Meet in the Ozark Room.
Novice Archery at Dogwood Canyon: Go from beginner to winner
in this archery demonstration and competition. From introduction to
practice time and then to the championships. The 3D course includes 5
different life-like animals all worth different points. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd will
be crowned. Participants will receive a Dogwood Canyon 3D Archery
T-shirt. $38.95/person. May 10–June 2, 9:30am-12:00pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Happy Hour at Worman House: Featuring drink specials and complimentary appetizers! Tuesday-Thursday from 4:00pm-6:00pm.
BINGO: Tuesday and Thursday. Starts at 5:00pm. Located in Cedar Creek B.
Big Cedar Fishing Tournament: Meet us at the marina for a fishing
competition on Saturday morning. We’ll start the day at 7:00am with a
fishing trip seminar from a professional fishing guide. You’ll learn where
the big ones are hiding and what lures are working. At 7:30am we’ll go
over the rules and then you’ll start fishing at 7:40am. Bring in your catch
by 11:30am and we’ll have a weigh-in ceremony and give prizes for the
biggest bass of the day! The biggest 5 fish stringer will receive a $50
Big Cedar Lodge food and beverage voucher. The biggest bass of the
day will receive a future one night stay at Big Cedar Lodge. Prizes will
also be given for second and third places. Tournament buy-in is $20 each
and includes a bag of popular lures. Boats for rent include: Pro 175 - $75; Pro 189
- $125 and Pro Z7 - $145. You may also use your personal boat. Minimum boats
necessary for tournament is four. Limit of two persons per boat. Limited number of
boats available for rent. Reservations are recommended. Every Saturday. We will
not have a fishing tournament on May 28th.
Creation Station: Featured crafts include Color Your Own Bear, flower
pens, ceramic frames with nature trinkets, tie dye and sand art. Prices Vary.
Held on Swimmin’ Hole Lawn Friday and Saturday. 10:00am-12:00pm.
Kids’ Club: Every Friday and Saturday from 12:00pm-3:00pm. $30/Child
per day. Includes a snack. Meet at Guest Services. Themes for May are — Friday:
Forest Fun; Saturday: Creative Conservation.
Kids’ House: Includes a meal and a t-shirt. Every Friday and Saturday.
4:00pm-8:00pm. $40/Child or $15/hour. Meet at Guest Services.
Bonfires!: Join the Activities Team on Friday and Saturday from 6:30pm9:30pm to roast s’mores and to play lawn games! Complimentary. Located on
the Truman Lawn.
Kids’ Fishing: Get in the heat of the competition! Most Fish Competition
on Saturday. Trophies awarded. Complimentary. Ages 4-13. 9:00am-10:00am.
Advanced Archery at Dogwood Canyon: Put your skills to the test in our
5-target 3D archery course, as you shoot from a tree stand, ground blinds,
and shot distances up to 30 yards for your chance to win a free overnight
stay at Big Cedar Lodge. Trophies will also be awarded for 1st, 2nd and
3rd place. Bring your own bows, or use one of Dogwood Canyon’s. $25 per
person and must be over 16 years of age, if under 18 must be accompanied by adult and
sign all proper waivers. Class size is limited for each Saturday so reserve a spot today.
Reservations required. Starts at 10:00am every Saturday beginning May 7th.
Digital Photo Hunt: See the sights of Big Cedar while racing for a prize...
and everyone receives a keepsake photo keychain! Saturday at 2:00pm. Bring
comfy shoes! $15 per team. Teams limited to five guests maximum. Meet at Guest Services.
Dogwood Canyon Evening Dinner Tram: Travel through the more rugged reaches of the canyon, cross the Arkansas border, and ascend some
300 feet to our bison, elk, and longhorn pastures before arriving at a rustic
campsite, complete with entertainment, old-fashioned games and a full
meal. Don’t forget about the s’mores for dessert. $39.95/Adults, $19.95/Child.
