VERSA-LAM®: DF - Douglas fir LVL (west), SP - Southern pine
LVL (east).
Dimension lumber values taken from NDS Supplement - 2005 Design
Values for Wood Construction (per 2006 IBC/IRC).
Repetitive member and size factors have not been applied.
(1) Bending value is multiplied by the depth factor, (12/d)1/9
where d = member depth [in].
(2) Tension value is multiplied by the length factor, (4/L)1/8 where
L = member depth [ft]. Use L = 4 for members less than 4 ft long.
(3) Southern yellow pine values listed for 2x10 sizes, see NDS
Supplement - 2005 Design Values for Wood Construction for other
truss chord sizes. Design values for all other products listed valid for
all common truss chord sizes (1½" thick).
