We cover Africa with seven satellites, with another four to launch by 2014. The
incremental satellite capacity brings new opportunities for you to connect your
customers, employees and TV audience.
Our extensive teleport network can enable you to gain excellent access to the
internet, along with flexible and reliable connectivity options to support a variety
of applications for your business.
Our satellites deliver comprehensive C-band coverage and high-powered Ku-band
beams for DTH, corporate VSAT networks, two-way broadband services, trunking
and GSM backhaul services. We ensure coverage throughout Africa and the most
efficient use of capacity for our customers.

NSS-703 satellite opens up a new orbital slot at 47° West to provide
C- and Ku-band inclined capacity over the Atlantic Ocean Region.
NSS-703 provides cost-effective capacity supporting GSM backhaul,
trunking and VSAT and maritime networks.

SES-4 will replace NSS-7 to provide enhanced coverage over Africa. It is
ideal for DTH and VSAT services throughout the region as well as linking
Africa and Europe. The high-powered East Hemi beam covers all of
Africa, including Madagascar, and is capable of cross-strapping to the
Ku-band beams. The incremental global capacity can support maritime
services, trunking applications and more.

NSS-7 Ku-band coverage
NSS-7 currently supports video contribution and distribution across all of
Africa, as well as hosts a leading DTH platform in West Africa. The EastHemi beam is home to many GSM trunking networks across Africa, and
provides an uplink facility from Europe. The high-powered zone beams
support corporate VSAT networks, broadband services and more. NSS-7
will move to 340°E after the launch of SES-4.

to support a range of GSM backhaul and maritime services. With a wide
coverage of Europe and Africa, NSS-5 is ideal for telco operators and oil
and gas services in the sub-Saharan region. The satellite also connects
VSAT networks between the United States and southern Africa, and
enables video distribution across Africa.
