Here’s an exciting new class being added to the Gym’s schedule starting January 3 at 4 p.m. and continuing every
Saturday (except January 10) through the month. This innovative class, taught by Jenny Smith, blends the ancient
insights of Yoga with a wellness program that promotes health and healing at a physical, emotional and spiritual level.
Yoga Therapy participants should be able to reduce hypertension and chronic fatigue while improving digestion and
strength of spine. The cost is $25 per session. Call 273-7707 to register.
TRAINER TIP
OF THE MONTH
PVIC Personal Trainer Josiah
Holtz offers this training tip to
all members: Resistance training
is most effectively performed
in slow deliberate movements
rather than rapid movements
that can lead to injuries. To
achieve maximum results, replace jerking, violent movements
with exercise patience and control. Remember, slow and safe
does it. Call 273-7707 to make a training appointment with
Josiah or any of the other fine Personal Trainers.
