OVERVIEW
Established in 1962, Rasmussen & Associates provides responsive, cost-effective,
and creative solutions to the architectural and planning needs of our clients. Our
insistence on identifying and tailoring services to respond to the needs of each
client has been rewarded over the years by a high percentage of repeat clients.
Our multi-disciplinary, professional staff brings its diverse expertise to bear on a
wide range of project sizes and types for institutional, governmental, commercial,
industrial, and residential clients.
The size of our firm allows us the flexibility to be very responsive to a variety of

President and senior principal of the firm, Mr. Rasmussen has
managed and designed projects of all types in Ventura County over
the past thirty years. He has provided land use planning, master
planning, and project design services to governmental, institutional,
commercial, and residential clients throughout Southern California.
He is personally involved in the planning and design of all the firm’s
work. His knowledge of local permit procedures and the individuals
who administer them offers our clients significant advantages in
timely approval of quality projects.

Mr. Boydstun is the firm’s Principal in charge of design. In that
capacity he is responsible for the preparation of design documents,

realization of the design intent in the built project. His project
responsibilities typically include meeting with client representatives
and user groups, coordination with outside consultants and
collaborators, and direction of in-house CAD and other technical
specialists in the preliminary design phases.

Mr. McGinley has over 35 years of experience in Southern California

these documents for most of the firm’s projects. His specifying and
