TREXA Material Expands Availability in Essilor Transitions Lenses
New Colors Now in Transitions XTRActive and Transitions Signature VII
DALLAS – January 5, 2016 – Essilor of America, the nation's leading manufacturer of optical
lenses, announces the expansion of its range of popular Transitions lenses for most Essilor lens
designs in TREXA material. Beginning on January 26, Transitions XTRActive lenses in
TREXA material will be available in gray, brown, and graphite green while Transition
Signature VII lenses in TREXA material will now be available in brown and graphite green, in
addition to gray.

TREXA lenses outperform standard plastic lenses to deliver patients enhanced visual benefits
and are available in a wide variety of premium designs. In addition, TREXA, a new Trivex-based
material is thinner, lighter and stronger than standard plastic.
