Maybe our opinion is a little biased, but we
don’t think there’s a better place for kids to
spend summer than YMCA day and overnight
camps. The great outdoors, fishing and hiking,
campfires and canoes, swimming and laughing,
and making friends for life—Y Camps have it all.
The YMCA of Greater Tulsa has decades of
experience in creating the ideal summertime
environment for kids and teens. Through ageappropriate programming, our highly trained
counselors and staff make sure all campers
have a positive experience they’ll never forget.

Destination ½ & ½
Camp Takatoka is located halfway between Chouteau and Wagoner off of Highway 69. Camp sessions run from Sunday
to Saturday. Drop-off is between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Sunday, and pickup is between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. on Saturday.
To attend Camp Takatoka, a physical form completed by a physician is required with your registration. Payment is due
in full two weeks prior to the start of the session.

• Westside YMCA
Located near the intersection of Highway 75 and Interstate 44, 1/4 mile west
of the Pepsi plant on the outer road to I-44 (West Skelly Dr.).
Week of June 8
Camp sessions run weekly, Monday through Friday, beginning on May 27 (the day after Memorial Day) and ending on
August 15. (All Day Camp locations will be closed Friday, July 4, for Independence Day.) Camp activities run from 9 a.m.
to 5 p.m. Extended care is offered at no extra cost from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Payment is due in
full one week prior to the start of the session.

and Camp Takatoka (TAK) sessions run Sunday-Saturday.

I understand that the YMCA of Greater Tulsa will not be responsible for any lost or
stolen items while members and/or program participants are using YMCA facilities, on
YMCA premises or on off-site YMCA program locations. I, the undersigned, for myself
and my heirs, do hereby indemnify and hold harmless the YMCA of Greater Tulsa and
its employees and agents from any and all claims for injury, illness, loss, or damage I,
or my child, may suffer as a result of employees, agents, volunteers, or the negligence

and obtain medical attention in the event of sickness or injury, and I understand
accident insurance is not included in the camp cost. Should a camper require special
medical treatment, prescription or hospital care during the camp session,
parents/guardian shall bear the expenses. This includes permission for YMCA staff to
apply sunscreen, and for my child to be transported by approved YMCA
drivers.
I give my permission to the YMCA of Greater Tulsa to use, for no compensation,
photographs, of promoting or interpreting YMCA programs. The YMCA of Greater
Tulsa is founded on Christian principles and prohibits inappropriate behavior and
conduct. This includes, but is not limited to, profanity or abusive language,
inappropriate attire, smoking, use of alcohol or drugs, the removal of YMCA property,
physical as a registered sex offender, or criminal conduct of any type. Such
inappropriate behavior or conduct is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. When the
safety of others is threatened, a member or anyone on YMCA property may be
immediately removed and expelled from all YMCA of Greater Tulsa facilities.
