This workshop takes casualty effects to another level by introducing some essential
bleeding effects as well as pulsating bladders.
It is one thing to have blood on wounds, but quite another when they appear to
bleed continuously, swell or pulsate!

• Day one will consist of a short presentation followed by creation of a two of prosthetics
- one a bleeding wound, the other a disgusting/alien disease. You will sculpt and mould
these appliances ready for use the following day.
Day two will then look at creating a functioning bleeding-tube and bladder rig for your
appliances so you can bulge and bleed on cue for the camera tests we do on day 3!

We will also create special appliances for hiding tubing and rigs so they can be placed
almost anywhere.
Day three will cover application techniques for your prosthetics, including blending
edges, colour matching and creating effects. Then we will stick the results in front of a
camera and film some bleeding and pulsating tests of your effects.

At the end of the workshop, you get to keep everything you made and used so you can
create more horrific effects for your own projects, pleasure or pranks.
This workshop open to all skill levels and is great for anyone seriously into casualty
simulation for first responders, creating realistic effects for film and TV or theatre.
The workshop fee includes workshop notes, all materials and kit.
