Cancer Program 2016 Physician Referral Guide A PA S S I O N F O R B E T T E R M E D I C I N E.™ 610-402-CARE LVHN.org How to refer a patient to Lehigh Valley Health Network for cancer care Our extensive team of cancer care professionals at Lehigh Valley Health Network’s (LVHN) Cancer Center includes board-certified and board-eligible physicians dedicated compassionate, personalized oncologic care. These specialists are available to provide care for patients with cancer and blood disorders, including those with hemophilia. In fact, we are one of just six hemophilia treatment centers in Pennsylvania. Additionally, we offer access to an extensive number of integrated services to support patients on their journey including rehabilitation, nutrition, psycho-social support, navigation, genetics and more. Together against cancer In 2016, cancer patients will have access to an even greater number of clinical trials as LVHN joins the Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK) Cancer Alliance. LVHN cancer patients will have unprecedented access to early-phase cancer trials offered by MSK, building upon the already-robust cancer clinical trials and offering new hope to our community. It’s easy to make a referral. Just call the telephone number included with the specialist’s biographical information. You will receive a return call within 24 hours from the specialist or a member of the specialist’s team. Alternatively, call LVHN’s central number, 610-402-CARE (2273).
