ADULT EDUCATION: 27% of adults rarely or never wear sunglasses while outside, while 46% wear suns only on sunny days. The Best Direction: More than 85% of patients want their eye doctor to recommend eyewear products and options based on their needs, regardless of price. Wear, oh wear: 86% of adults are currently wearing sunglasses, but only 11% are wearing Rx suns. Two is better than one: 32.8% of Americans regularly use two or more pairs of sunglasses. Let’s Face It: About three quarters of Americans buy sunglasses that best suit the shape of their face. THE BEST DIRECTION: 83% of ECPs make their sunwear purchasing decisions with the help of their sales consultants.
