sure that you understand at least the basics of web lingo:
• Page View, a web page that has been viewed by one visitor.
• Visit, a series of page views (beginning when a visitor’s browser requests the first page from the server and
ending when the visitor leaves the site).
• Impression, the number of times an online advertisement appears on a web page.
• Unique Visitor, an unduplicated visitor to a website over a certain period of time (measured by a unique IP
address, or online fingerprint).
• Average Visit Duration/Time on Site, the amount of time a visitor spends on a website (the longer the
time, the more engaged the user is).
• Click/Click-Through, the process of clicking an online element (link, banner ad, etc.)
