The primary focus of the meeting was to review possible amendments to the National Technology Benchmark
(NTB) outcome competency standards and to make recommendations to the National Technology Benchmarks
Committee for approval for the January 1, 2012 NTB updated release. The NTBs are used by all provinces as the
standard for certification/registration of applicants and accreditation standards for technology program training.
