Auditions will be held June 26th & 27th at 7:30pm
At DCP Theatre: 795 Ridge Road, Telford, PA
Roles Available:
SYLVIA CHARLES – [F] 70s-80s, Mastermind of ‘Saucy Slips, Etc.’ Feisty and Funny.
VERA WALTERS – [F] 70-80, Sylvia’s accomplice: slightly deaf, snarky.
BRIDGET CHARLES – [F] Sylvia’s 20-something, straight-laced, law-student granddaughter.
TOM O’GRADY – [M] Newbie cop, crushing hard on Bridget, way too nice.
GIL SCHMIDT – The landlord, overly eager to rid himself of Sylvia as a tenant. 60s. Money grubber.
HEATHER VAN PREE – BDSM-store employee. (21-45yrs. Female, convincing Male in drag, or Trans)
CLAIR – [F] The big client. 60s. Sassy, confident in her body.
UPS MAN – Cute and a little lonely.
OTHER UPS MAN – The strong and silent type.
A NOTE regarding the roles of ’Clair’, ‘UPS MAN’, and ‘OTHER UPS MAN’;
These roles will also serve as stage crew.


Arrive by 7:30pm, earlier if you need to write out your experience.

Bring your printed resume and a completed Audition form if possible.

Wear comfortable shoes and clothing.

Plan to read a scene from the script. Sides will be available at the audition.

Familiarize yourself with the play and its characters.

Optional: Prepare a comedic monologue no longer than 1 minute.

Optional: Show off your best Brooklyn or NYC accent.
