ROCKLAND, MAINE
THE BEST WAY TO BEAT THE HEAT — A LOBSTER FEAST
By Julie Piotraschke
THE MAIN EVENT — THE MAINE LOBSTER FESTIVAL
WHERE: Rockland, Maine — Four hours from Boston and less than two from Portland
WHEN: Wednesday, July 30-Sunday, Aug. 3
FRESH-CATCH FUN
This summer, escape the sweltering heat. Head to a place where the hum of your
air conditioner is replaced with the chatter of seagulls, where watching the mercury
rise gives way to wild moose sightings and where your ice chip cravings are satisfied
with something better — fresh lobster from the mid-afternoon boat.
Ignore Horace Greeley's "Go West" advice and head to Maine — the most Eastern
part of the United States. "Here is the way life should be," says Kathleen Sullivan, who

"Some people like to come and relax, and others like to take day trips. It's whatever
you want it to be."
For those who choose to pull their rig to this out-of-the-way state, there are treasures
to be found in its many nooks and crannies. But don't worry- our most Northeastern
state offers plenty of wide-open roads . Some roads lead to the picturesque lighthouses,
the jagged coastline and the fresh catches of the Atlantic shore.
"We see a lot of RVs on the coastal routes, in the mountains and on Route 1, our main
highway," says State Rep. Chuck Kruger. "We are a pretty RV-friendly state. Our roads
are not choked with traffic, and they're wide enough to accommodate coaches. In fact,

As a child, J was often irritable, but one day, Neal discovered that

"As we camped more and more, we realized we were more campers

DEAR FRIENDS,
WITH WARM
REGARDS FROM
JOYCE SKINNER
know where we want to go,
“We
and we're determined to get there!
“
Hello Friends!
Determined, focused, excited — these are just a few of the adjectives that would describe our Entegra Coach
team right now. We're heading into the summer season after coming off a great year. The RV industry
thrived in 2013, and Entegra Coach — itself — had an amazing year!
We learned yesterday that Cornerstone was the No. 1 500-plus horsepower seller in the diesel pusher
category, capturing 28% of the market share. Anthem finished in 10th in the entire diesel sales model
ranking, and Aspire was 11th. Of the total industry sales of 450HP and higher, Entegra Coach had 25% of
the market share for 2013, and I’d say that is something to be proud of! Still, we're determined to see Aspire
and Anthem move closer to the top spot in the near future. Our focus hasn’t changed since the inception of
Entegra Coach — we know where we want to go, and we're determined to get there.
And as many of you already know, Tadd Jenkins is back with us as our President. With this change brings
renewed excitement because we love the passion and enthusiasm he has! While he may have left for a few
months to pursue other interests, his heart and soul never left Entegra Coach, and we are glad to have him
back. He has assembled a team that will allow us the growth we need to reach our goals.
I'm proud to say that our customer service team is growing as well. We added two new technical service
folks to assist with the care of our customers and Entegra dealers. They're ready to answers questions and
address concerns, and they can “hit the ground running” with a history of motorhomes on their side. Dave
Troxel is a former employee of Travel Supreme, and Jeremy Lehman is coming to us from the Entegra Coach
production side. I am confident that these two gentlemen will play a huge part in our continued quest to
provide you with the best customer service possible.

Looking back to 2010 when I joined the team, there were three of us (Don,
Jacob and myself), and now we have a team of 12. I can never praise my team
enough for all their hard work and dedication in ensuring that our customers
are well taken care of — I sure am lucky to work with them on a daily basis!
We also added some new dealers to our lineup as well — Beaver Coach in
Bend, Ore.; National Indoor RV Center in Lilburn, Ga.; and Paul Evert’s
RV Country in Fresno, Calif., to name a few. We are partnering with some
fantastic dealers and that will be a win/win situation for us and them — but
especially for you, our valued customers!
The Entegra Coach Summerfest II is just around the corner, and from what I
have heard and read, Tom and Regina Searle have done another outstanding
job in organizing this event so that those of you attending will have an
awesome time! I look forward to seeing you and, of course, will miss those
who are not able to make it this year. (When I turn in my article, I never
know when it will actually go to press, so it is possible that Summerfest will
occur before this is published). Regardless, there is never a dull moment
when the Entegra Coach family members gather together, so I'm looking
forward to many laughs, hugs and conversations!
In closing, I do have to tell you that we are now the proud grandparents of

GRILLING CHICAGO STYLE
BACON AND RED ONION GRILLED PIZZA | By Julie Piotraschke
Come across a Chicagoan, and their tough talk just might convince you that the
Windy City — not Italy — is the proper birthplace of true pizza.
This city is where thin, crispy dough from overseas pizzas go
After creating the first deep-dish pie in 1943, Chicago keeps
when they want to grow up to be real pizzas. The kind of pizzas
layering on the goodness. The city now hosts the world's largest
that are 3 inches thick, covered with sauce and stuffed with
food festival — the Taste of Chicago — featuring more than
great things 'til it overflows. Say hello to the deep-dish pizza, a
200 different foods. So in the spirit of all things saucy and the
hunky piece of dough that makes you think those "pizzas" in
upcoming July taste event, we're introducing you to the Bacon

Makes about two 9-10" pizzas, depending on whether you like thin crust or deep dish
shopping list
For the Pizza Toppings
♦ 1 cup tomato sauce
♦ 12 slices thick-cut bacon cooked
and cut into 1" pieces
♦ 1 large red onion, thinly sliced
♦ 2 cups shredded mozzarella
♦ 1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
If you like to load up on the fixin's, add
more toppings. Pepperoni, cooked sausage
or grilled chicken are good additions.
Consider adding green peppers, tomatoes
or even pineapple for added flare.
For the Pizza Dough
♦ 1 1/2 cups warm water
♦ 1 tbsp. sugar
♦ 1 tbsp. yeast
♦ 1/2 tsp. salt
♦ 3-4 cups of flour
1
Combine water, sugar and yeast. Let it sit for 10 minutes until
the yeast begins to bubble.
2
Add salt and stir. Add 1 1/2 cups of flour and mix well. Slowly add more
flour until the dough starts to pull away from the sides of the
bowl and isn't sticking to your fingers.
3
Place the dough in a greased bowl. Cover and allow to rise for
45 minutes or until it doubles in size.
4
Remove from the bowl and place on a lightly-floured surface.
Shape into whatever size or shape you'd like.
5
Drizzle a little olive oil on one side. Put the oiled side straight on the
grill. Shut the lid. Check in five minutes. Once it begins to puff and is
dry to the touch, flip your crust. (It should also have grill marks on the
bottom.) Brush with olive oil.
6
Cover your crusts with tomato sauce. Decorate with bacon pieces
and onions. Cover with mozzarella and red pepper flakes. Place on grill.
Shut the lid. Check every 3-4 minutes. If the cheese is melted and the
bottom is cooked, grab a spatula. You're ready to eat!

Use a little less toppings than normal. The toppings tend to stay
on easier that way, and they'll cook faster.
Preheat your grill to medium hot, or 600 degrees.
Instead of one large pizza, try smaller ones. They're easier to scoop.
Keep the lid of your grill closed so it can act like an oven.
For a gas grill with multiple burners, turn off the burner directly
below the pizza; leave the others on. For a charcoal grill, move the
charcoal to one side of the grill and place the pizza on the other side.

BUCKET LIST #6 — GEAR UP FOR STURGIS |
By Amy Speer
Jeanne Kangas can feel the pull of the open road. Miles away, the horizon
swallows up the stretch of asphalt. It seems the road ends, but Jeanne knows
otherwise. Adventure looms on the other side — after all, it's been said all roads
lead to Sturgis — our Bucket List adventure for this edition.
Come August, Jeanne and her husband, Mike, will embark
Whether Jeanne is riding her own Harley Davidson or
on their fifth Sturgis trip, partaking in the annual Black Hills
traveling alongside her husband in their Entegra Coach
motorcycle rally. It's a chance to hit the blacktop.
Anthem 44D, the horizon line has always provided them
with new possibilities.
"When you ride a motorcycle," Jeanne says, "you understand
why a dog sticks its head out of the window. You feel the
freedom of the road."
