of use, great water quality and a quiet exclusive
nature. Motorboats are permitted, however
the only boat launch on the lake is private,
considerably limiting the number of boats.
The lake is great for small sailboats, trout
fishing, and paddling. Adventure awaits
paddlers who choose to explore the largest such
area within the Adirondack Park designated as
the St. Regis Wilderness canoe area. Only ½ mile
from the clubhouse at the 18-hole Saranac Inn
course. Mountain bike & hike for miles on
neighboring Floodwood Road. Only five miles
from the Adirondack Regional Airport.
