Our ministry has been seeking The Lord
with our prayers concerning the
Overflow with great expectations in our
hearts. I believe that as we position
ourselves mentally, emotionally and
spiritually for this next season we will be
able to sustain what The Lord has for
us. Whatever your sphere of influence is
and wherever it takes you know that The
Lord is leading, guiding and directing
your footsteps every step of the way
(Psalm 37:23).

Ruby of The Month
Here are some benefits you will get by keeping a
journal:
1. It trains you to be observant.
2. It prevents you from losing an idea.
3. It helps you memorize an idea.
4. It trains you to express your thoughts.
5. It helps you expand your ideas.
6. It helps you review all the lessons you’ve
learned.
7. It allows you to see your progress over time.
Each month we celebrate our sisters in the house!
Always remember the word of God in Proverbs
11:25 The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he
that watereth shall be watered also himself.

I have been journaling for years; writing all the lessons I learn, and all the ideas I get has become a
habit for me. And to be honest, it’s difficult to imagine how my life would be without it. If you
want to grow, you should journal. It may seem simple, but it can make a big difference in your life.

Operation Super Immunity
by Rose Garner
Now that the seasons have changed, and winter is soon approaching, it is time to begin safeguarding and building up our immune
systems for the cold and flu season. There are several ways to edify your body against impending viruses, bacteria and diverse
germs. Proper rest, keeping your external and internal environment peaceful, and consuming the proper nutrients can be vital to
obtaining and fortifying your immune system. Let’s focus on a few nutrients that have the capacity to strengthen the immune
system.
1. One clove of raw garlic has 5mg of calcium, 12mg of potassium, and more than 100 sulfuric compounds. It is so powerful that
it can kill bacteria and infection. In World War I and World War II it was used to prevent gangrene. It also kills parasites in
the body and can lower blood pressure and cholesterol. It also wards off tumors and safeguards against cancer.
2. Spinach is packed with nutrients that produce new cells in the body. It repairs damaged DNA, has vitamin C, and numerous
antioxidants and beta carotene, which increases the infection fighting cells of our immune systems. The nutrients in raw spinach
are far more potent than the nutrients in harshly cooked spinach. It is best to steam it very lightly or consume it raw.
3. One forth cup/one handful of raw unsalted almonds has nearly fifty percent's of the daily recommended amount of vitamin E,
Riboflavin, and niacin that helps the body rebound from the effects of stress. Almonds aid the body’s natural defenses against
viruses, toxins, fungus, bacteria, pollution, germs and parasites.
Consuming foods that edify and strengthen our bodies such as fruits, vegetables, raw nuts and seeds, lean meats, and whole
grains will help turn back disease. Living foods have active nutrients that place a hedge of protection around our cells. The hedge
is our defense, but without it, germs/disease can come in and out at will. This is why we need more living food versus more meats
(dead foods). There is an array of goodness that God has placed within the earth that we take for granted. Let’s begin to explore
His goodness through partaking in a healthier lifestyle.

Lawanda Webb has been a member of River Of
Living Water Ministries International for 10 years
and many of us know she LOVES to travel so in
this edition of our Newsletter she is going to share
about her recent excursion to the Harriet Tubman’s
Freedom Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
“First of all, I was so excited to experience the
historical events through stories or tangible items
that were left behind. While there I had the opportunity to visit ancestorial.com which gave me access to information to my ancestor’s history. I
retrieved information on my great-great grandfather Brady Phipps born in 1898 as well as others
born between the 1700's to 1800’s. The most profound trait about my ancestors was that they stood
as warriors, and were not afraid to confront any of
their enemies. This is something that holds true
today for me as a born again believer, God continues to give me the strength to stand in adverse
situations with the promise that my hand will be in
the neck of my enemies (Genesis 49:8). Knowing
where you came from doesn’t necessarily dictate
where you’re going but having the knowledge of
what was encountered before me helps me to recognized the enemy from afar and it is then that I can
prepare myself to not be moved b y what happens
around me but to have my feet firmly planted on
the foundation of God’s word.”
Foundational Verse
“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers
only, deceiving your own selves –James 1:22
